Alert Notice - All Station Members
Hey all,
Quick advisory note that the station may suffer power fluctuations in the next while related to the energy readings I discovered and am working on with Sarah.
I've made sure that all the vital functions like life support and hull integrity are on a priority for the station's computer, however things like lighting and other non essential systems will be affected.
Given the effects of the energy readings on magical and innate abilities I'd advise you all to carry a conventional, non magical and bright light source such as a torch or similar. If you don't have one, please let me know and I can give you one of mine from my supplies.

The above isn't the whole truth. Loki and I have taken a trip to the Sagrandan mines and discovered the same energy anomalies that we are experiencing on the station on the planet's surface, particularly in the mines where the political tensions of the planet began.
Alongside this, we discovered a being made of shadows that fled from us and opened a portal to another plane or amaranth that drew several parallels to the area we were in. Inside this portal I was able to capture footage of 2 distinct humanoid beings which I will place behind a secure link [here] and [here]
(They are not conventional beings so consider the two links as content warnings)
In addition to the above, the feeling in the mines was emotionally distressing and unnerving. I surmise the individuals I captured footage of may not have our best intentions at heart however I do not think it wise for us to start aggressions with beings we do not understand and can barely perceive.
Bright light seemed to startle the individual we came across and caused it to flee beyond the portal. They appear at first as flat planar shadows that shouldn't be in the place that they are. (like a shadow cast by an invisible person)
Suggesting that for now we encourage everyone to carry a non-magical light source to protect themselves, however I would advise being on your guard and prepared for escalation. My theory about lights is not explicitly proven.
