For all involved in the search and rescue through the door to New York I'd like to set up a few procedures to keep it organized and all of us safe. Even if you have abilities beyond human it'd be best to follow the same as everyone else, it'll keep us more organized and even if you can't get hurt you could get trapped somewhere and the more time we spend helping our own the less we have to help the ones who need it.

If you'd like to help through the door but find the search and rescue teams too much I've spoken to one of the Red Cross coordinators and we can work with them. This will mostly entail working at make-shift homeless and relief shelters to hand out supplies and food and make sure the people living there are cared for. This will also be done in six hour shifts but you will be able to work 12 hours before coming back if you feel you can. I will stop in on the way to and from the door to pick up and drop off anyone at the shelters we'll be helping at the time.

And as a note: I'm going by the name James through the door. It's easier if those on the other side don't know my identity yet.
