Are you still here? We should meet and talk. We are close kin, and yet I know little of you. In fact, I have only seen you once in my life.

Just thought I'd make an announcement that the bakery will have special blue cupcakes and blue cookies all week in celebration of Miss Bridget's joyous occasion.

And we also have bread, rolls, cakes, doughnuts, pastries of all sorts, and we take special orders as well!

I love the spring! I remember how much hope I would find when the trees came into bloom in Ithilien, even over the creeping darkness of Mordor. It was as if it were a promise that even in the darkest times, good could triumph.

I give this to all of you who are hurting - and I know there are many of you - keep faith. For every winter will become spring, and bloom the brighter for the darkness you have survived.

So. The fries in the pub kind of rock. But I hope nobody's expecting me to plant potatoes or any shit like that. Try to make me do that sort of thing and this place will go Lord of the Flies faster than Dean can eat a pie.

So! The best architect in all of Middle Earth EVER is building me a hobbit hole! It'll take a while for him to finish it, of course, but when he's done, I want everyone to come visit, we'll have a big party with lots of ale and food and hobbit hospitality!

Who wants to help me plan the party? And I mean a hobbit-style party!

How did I go all this time without knowing that babies cry so much?

Are there any wizards around?

Or anyone who knows how to make fireworks?

Spring has come at last! It never got terribly cold or terribly warm in Tírion or Taniquetil, but there were always times of the year that Yavanna set aside for blooming and for harvest, so we had seasons in that way.

And in the spring, and in the autumn - as they were for us - we would have grand feasts with dancing and singing. They were lovely times of fellowship and celebration, celebrating all of Yavanna's creations and all of Eru's gifts.

Perhaps...we might have something like that here? A time to bring together, to learn of each other, to celebrate all the new children that have been born here. To make new friends, and enjoy time with old ones.

Would anyone be interested? I know that there are some who do not like me, but I should like to try to set such things behind, and for everyone to have a fresh start. It is, after all, spring, and a time of new beginnings.
