Apparently the "this is up for discussion" portion of this went right over everybody's heads. I never said this was the final decision. This was one idea of how things COULD be done.

I am going to step back now and let the people who know how to do this shit handle it from now on. There needs to be some type of government. I'm leaving it at that. So the rest of you can argue about it. I'm done.

I'll follow whatever rules are set in place. I'll help with security if you want me to. That's the end of my involvement. Have a nice discussion. I'm out.

(Epically backdated to Tuesday afternoon, sorry.)

I've put together a spreadsheet of everyone who's offered to donate blood, their stipulations regarding its donation, and whether or not they're able to donate more often than the standard human. Something has come up though, so I was hoping that one or both of you could field any more requests or offers if you come across them, and obviously get things under way. It was deemed better on Thomas if I wasn't directly involved in that anyway. But let me know.

So I'm guessing you've all seen the post about forming a council by now.

As much as the word "council" makes me shudder, the guy's right. There does need to be order here. Lately, certain people have been acting like they own this island and that is not cool.

It's no secret that I don't like being told what to do, but if working together with a council will keep the people I care about safe, I'll shut up and play along.

Beside that, for all the vampires, werewolves and dickhybrids here, or anyone who knows any - which is all of you - this is our best chance to have our say and stop certain people treating us like animals. There's no way we can keep our nature secret here so we need to make sure we're heard as much as every other sucker on this island.

As most of you know by now, I have a vested interest in keeping everyone on this island safe. Maybe I've gone soft in my old age; I don't know. But my main priority is to stop some goddamn war breaking out and endangering the people I love. If any of you know me even the slightest bit, you'll know I'm not joking about that.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want you to vote me in as your representative on this new council thing...

Why? Well, I'm stubborn, you know damn well that I'll always say things the way I see them, I won't take any "we've been here longer than you so you have to do what we say" bullshit, I'm not going to be intimidated by big bad monsters threatening me if I disagree with them, I already have plans for improving security and, most of all, you know you can trust me to put your safety above everything else. If I've proved anything over the last two years, it's that. Plus Elena would kill me if I let anything happen to anyone she cares about

So yeah...
