If it hadn't been for my brothers showing up, I think I might have forgotten my own birthday yesterday.

The blood rain lasted long enough that the blood is bound to be soaked into the dirt, right? And it's all over everything. The only way to clean all of this up is to have a really good real rain with water.

Judging from personal experience, if that doesn't happen soon, the whole island is going to start smelling really bad, really fast. Blood + heat = nasty smell. I'm just saying.

I don't know if you're all aware, but a second Elena has been brought to our cosy little island. She's a vampire. So obviously this is about blood. (I'm sure you've all already guessed that though.) Her requirements, it seems, are for fresh human blood. You're all familiar with that, so I told her I would contact you about the possibility of donating to her as well. Would you mind me passing on your names? Obviously you can't donate at the moment, Maryanne, and there's a limit to how much the rest of you should, but I'm sure we can work something out between us. If not, well, I've learned a thing or two since last time.

Let me know if you're comfortable with me forwarding your names to her or not though.
