Spinning Compass Network

I have to say I'm not big on using these fancy gadgets for nothin'. Don't seem worth more than a rather big paper weight... But I figure I can contact the whole lot of ya and get a hand or two.

If tonight is any indication of the way the weather's gonna turn, on this here island, then we need to get these crops in lickity split, other wise they'll be ruined by frost. I need every able bodied man woman and child out here helpin'. If we get that it'll be done in a day, maybe two.

I'll need a team to go out in the jungle and a team to go out in the forest and collect any fruit that meets your eye, ripe or not. Better to ripen it up unnaturally than let it freeze and go to ruin. There's ways of keepin' it fresh so it'll last us till spring.

I'll need another team in the field me and Stephen made to pluck corn, wheat, barley, and various other veggies. The tubers will be fine while we gauge what the weather's really gonna do, so there wont be no diggin' in the ground just yet.

I'll need a third team to help cover the plants that give annual harvest. I found some nice thick tarps and some reasonable plastic sheets that will work.

Who can I count on to help out? This ain't just for me, this is for all of us.

What I ain't figured out is why the train keeps dumping people here. Why not just send them home? Don't make no sense.

Not that I'm complaining, mind. Since home for me ain't no place I want to be. Just seems strange, is all.

I don't think that she's coming back. I guess... I have to let her go.

At least there are no polar bears and crazy smoke monsters on this island.
