For possibly the first time in her life, Ginnifer Callaway felt like a swoony schoolgirl. The other girls in her band were still on a high over their own performance, whooping it up ad having a good old time, but Ginny? Had been focused on the stage the entire time, watching Lexi out there, and just feeling every sort of butterfly in existance go through her tummy. To see her love in her natural element, so healthy, happy, and excited... Ginny just blushed realizing how HOT it was.

Ginny just paced in little circles as she waited for Broken Sunrise to finish their last song, waiting to practically pounce her girlfriend the moment she came backstage.

Seriously... Lexi? Was in for about the biggest hug and kiss combo in the hbistory of EVER.

This was it. The biggest night in Avarice's short history. The CD release concert for Broken Sunrise. There were two other bands playing as well, including Skylar's, but he knew Broken Sunrise was going to bring in the media. Dressed in a snazzy black suit and tie, Ben stood on the stage, microphone in hand.

"Ladies and gents... thank you for coming tonight...  without further ado... allow me to introduce the first band of the evening."

He turned slightly, motioning as the curtain on the stage began to pull away.

"A band that I personally have a VERY vested interest in... allow me to re-introduce you all... to the new, the improved... Suicide Messiah!"

While most teenaged girls revel in their birthdays, Stephanie Whitmore was more the type to just ignore it. She didn't exactly have a normal life, after all. Being a dhampir was hard enough, living with two demonic guardians made it even worse. Plus, she didn't want to bother her friends with something so trivial.

So tonight, she celebrated her birthday by herself, sitting along in Eden at a small table, a tiny cupcake in front of her, with a single candle in it.

"...happy birthday, Steph. Ya made it one more year."

Dinner with Stephanie had been fun. Lilly had taken her to a place that was...middle of the road as far as expense was concerned. Good enough so that Lilly wasn't a cheapskate, but not so crazy that either of them would have to dress to the nines (who would wear the tux?) or blow a month's worth of money on one dinner. She had also thought to ask what food that Stephanie actually liked and chosen from that as well.

She then took her to Eden. A place they were both comfortable with. Lilly knew that she was enjoying herself. It was good to actually be out on a date, since it had been forever and a day since anyone had even caught Lilly's eye. Plus, she certainly wasn't going to complain about the company. She just hoped that Stephanie was having a good time.

Lilly did NOT want to go out tonight. Well, now that Paige was on the loose, she didn't want to go out any night. So, when Ginny called her to deliver the good news to their new guitarist, she called Stephanie and asked her to meet her at her home instead. Her place was protected, even though storage sheds had more room in them than her place. Still, she had never cared about it being a small studio apartment. It suited her needs by being cheap and having enough space for her stuff. She even had a corner for her drum set, and, luckily, the place next door had no one living in it, so she could actually practice without disturbing a neighbor.

Still, being here felt odd knowing that Paige, well, undead-Paige, had been here. It scared the hell out of her, to be honest. While she didn't know for sure that Stephanie was actually a dhampir, she didn't figure that the girl would have a reason to lie. Besides, having a body guard was so not a bad thing right now.

Lilly was so thankful that her friends had finally found a way to get her apartment back to its normal state, that is, not having the invite of a homicidal vampire over it. When she had went back this morning, the place was a bit trashed, which Lilly wasn't too shocked to find. Paige had probably vented her frustration or general anger or whatever on it after she had taken off. She had spent the morning cleaning everything up, including the now completely trashed pictures of her and Paige. Not like she really could have kept them up anyway, but she would have rather of at least been able to keep them. She couldn't in their current state, though.

After cleaning everything up, she had to go out and replace, well, most of everything in her apartment. She had actually broken down and called her parents, saying that she had been robbed and asking if she could borrow some money. They had asked her if she wanted them to come down, but that got a big, fat veto right there. She just felt lucky that Paige didn't know where her parents lived. She got the money, though.

Now, after getting everything replaced in her home and set up, she stopped by Chloe's Sugar Shack to get a much needed caffeine fix. Chloe herself wasn't in right now, for obvious reason, but it was still open and running, so she took that as a good sign. Strangely, she felt safer here than most other places. She just wasn't sure why.

The band had been working almost non-stop to try and find a replacement for Paige. Lilly was a little surprised that Ginny had been so strong in her will to find someone else, so quickly. Of course, before she got sired and all evil, Paige had already been fired. Ginny had managed to already move on in her own mind, while Lilly was still more than a little stuck. She had still lost her best friend, both in the band and in death. She wasn't sure that she could move on so easily.

Right now, though, she didn't want to think of anything like that. She just wanted to sip at her coffee and completely turn her brain off for a while. Things would be a lot easier if she could actually do that, instead of having to try and force it.

Well... it had to happen sooner or later. Why not sooner? Ginny knew she needed to replace Paige, and the sooner she did it, the sooner she was sending out the message that she wasn't afraid of the girl, or her threats.

So, she called Lilly and Irene, and told them her plans: she wanted to have open auditions at Eden, with all three of them present. She also wanted Lexi there, to give HER opinion, as a respected guitarist herself.

She had some ideas for a new name (since Paige had come up with Coma White), ones she liked better. But she'd ask the girls about that later. For now? It was time to see who was interested in replacing their resident drama queen.

To the few people who knew Ginny more as herself, and less as a performer... this was a sight they'd likely never forget: the pale, gothic beauty in her natural element, onstage with her band, Coma White.

She'd never been a huge fan of the name, or it's connotations, but Paige had come up with it when she helped her form the band. And no matter what they were called... this was Ginny at her best. Letting out every inner demon she had, in the form of lyrics that meant the world to her. When she spoke... her voice was a barely audible whisper. But when she was performing, her voice was a mighty roar, a primal scream direct from a tortured soul,  letting her fears, tragedies, and triumphs hopefully inspire young women like herself to fight back, to rebel against all that tried to hold them down.

Tonight, she wore onstage a black vinyl gown that hugged every curve, but was slit up each side to right beneath the hips, and a black spiked choker, with her usual heavy goth makeup.

The band was in the middle of one of their trademark songs, and, due to it's lyrics, every time they performed it, the stage was inevitably rushed by young women eager to rock out, to rage against what angered them. Her voice, at first, was a husky, deep purring growl.

"It's true... I've got demons inside me... and sometimes? They need to speak.
My dark places... make me feel ugly.
My lips are glossed, but my heart is weak.
I'm diseased.... as seen on TV,

For not being pretty, or sexy... but God never blessed me."

But then, as she prepared to kick into the chorus, she burst into a gutteral, primal scream, that those who never saw her perform would never believe her capable of.

Everyone seemed to be ganging up on her friend Paige at the moment, so Lilly felt the need to take her friend out and get her mind off of everything that was going on at the moment. Well, it would probably have been better if Paige hadn't went off and started shit at Avarice, but that was part of what made Paige well, Paige. She was going to let you know exactly what she thought of you, and she didn't think to highly of Suicide Messiah, past members or present members.

Lilly herself couldn't possibly care less about them one way or another. She had no real respect toward them or anything, but didn't exactly hate them, either. Then again, Lilly just wasn't much of a conflict starter, or a diplomat for peace, either.

She had called Paige and told her to show up at Eden for a little bit of fun and no bitching at her, which was a change from everything else as of late. The drummer tapped her fingers on the table in the rhythm of one of Coma White's songs as she waited for her friend to show up.
