A Quiet New Years

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Henry
Where: The Beach House
When: New Years Eve

Mac was glad neither Brayden nor Meredith had tried to be overly persuasive in trying to get her to go out with them for a bit that New Years Eve as big parties weren't exactly her scene. She'd rather remain at the beach house and ring the new year in a little more quietly, and was glad Henry wasn't the out going type her house-mates were. Having a boyfriend was nice. Having one with a similar personality to her own was even better in Mac's eyes as it tended to have them on the same page more often then not. Celebrating the incoming year a bit more sedately then most people intended to just seemed to suit the two teens quite well. The evening had started off nicely with Henry arriving around 8:30 and the two teens then enjoying a movie with popcorn and soda. When it started nearing the end of the year the two mutually decided to take a walk on the beach to hopefully catch the fireworks that would light up the nights sky once it hit midnight.

Hallowen Dance at Avarice

[info]silver_moon
[info]btvsal
Who: Zane and open to all attendees
Where: Avarice
When: Saturday Evening - October 30

Zane arrived prior to the official start of the Halloween Dance in her chosen costume for the evening. While she was sure most would go the character route, Zane had chosen to go historical with an ivory flapper costume. The teen wanted to get some good photos before her peers started to arrive. Once that happened Zane was sure she'd be kept busy snapping pictures as she had set up a place at the back of the club to take photos of anyone who might be wanting a momento from that night. The teen was quite impressed with the way Clarity and her little dance committee had decorated the place for the night and finally set to work capturing their work onto film.

Bunny Slippers Are The Cutest Thing Ever

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Brayden & Mac
Where: The beach house
When: Tuesday morning

Call the newspapers, because this? Was huge. Ladies and gentlemen... Brayden Bale... was sitting quietly in the kitchen, eating breakfast and not talking or doing anything obnoxious. Clearly, the end was night, yes? Anyway, having decided to wait to get dressed, he sat there at the counter, wearing only a black and blue plaid pair of pajama bottoms, eating a bowl of cereal and silently reading the newspaper. When Brayden was QUIET? Obviously, something was on the kid's mind.

Mac wandered into the kitchen still half asleep during Brayden's solitude of silence in a pair of pink fluffy bunny slippers, black and pink plaid pajama pants and a over-sized tee. "Morning." She offered softly on her way to get herself a cup of coffee.

Even Brayden has a heart, it seems...

[info]brayden_bale
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Brayden
Where: Avarice
When: Sunday Evening - August 1

Mac was sitting at one of the VIP tables inside the club sipping her glass of soda as her gaze fluttered around the interior while she waited for Brayden to arrive. Those dark eyes of her halted suddenly on a guy who seemed to have suddenly appeared at the table. When she glanced up the teen caught the charming smile the guy gave her, which was followed by him trying to coax her away from the table and out onto the dance floor.

"I'm waiting for someone." Mac tried informing the guy who wasn't about to take a no for an answer. "It'll be just once dance, beautiful." And being the insistent ass he appeared to be the guy made a move to grab Mac by the arm to take her out on the dance floor. A move that had the teen trying to jerk her arm away from his grasp.

Kindred Souls

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mouse & Mac
Where: Chloe's Sugar Shack
When: Saturday afternoon

While normally, Mouse would be a little sluggish and tired at the very prospect of the double-shift she was going to be working today, instead, the pale redhead was perky and smiling. She was going to go visit Hope after she got out tonight, and the thought made her giggly and full of smiles.

Wearing that silly-yet-cute outfit the waitresses there wore, she sat down at a small table near the counter to take her first break of the day.

Sometimes you just need a friend

[info]brayden_bale
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Brayden
Where: Their Hotel Suite
When: Morning - July 9

Mac had been the first to rise that morning, and clad still in her pajamas, the teen phoned down a breakfast order of bagels and cream cheese, a side order of eggs and orange juice. A breakfast she was enjoying at the moment seated at the table in the suite she shared with Brayden.

Ugh. We could say Brayden was in a grouchy, shitty mood, but that would be an understatement. The argument he'd had a few days ago with Meredith was eating away at him, and the normally cocky, brash young man looked positively sullen. He sat down with Mac, not touching anything on the table, and finally spoke up.

"Mac... you mind if I ask your opinion about something?"

The Most Unlikely Of Friends

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Brayden
Where: Brayden's Hotel Suite
When: Sunday Early Afternoon - May 23

Mac picked at her lunch which had been delivered by room service along with a meal for Brayden. The guy seemed, though, to enjoy his more then she appeared to be enjoying hers. Mac had showed up at Brayden's hotel room just after noon that day visibly distraught about something, something that the teen had yet to share with her friend. The night before after she had returned to her cousin's house, Mac learned that he planned on moving back to England. And while she understood his reasons, and that the move would have Mac in a safer and more secure environment as she would be surrounded by family, Mac wasn't exactly thrilled about the prospect. So it was a natural act that she turned to the person who had become her closest friend. Only trouble at this point was that Mac was having a hard of a time now with saying what was on her mind as she had when she wanted to tell Brayden about the "gift" she possessed.

"Ok, so spill it already." He said, raising a brow toward her. "Seriously, after what we talked about last time? How can anything else have you this nervous? So talk, lest I tickle it outta you. Which could lead to making out." He grinned, winking playfully.

Avoiding A Guy For All The Wrong Reasons

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Brayden
Where: Regan High Library
When: Tuesday Afternoon - May 4
Status: Complete

For the first time in ages, Brayden Bale found himself completely befuddled by a woman. Not some woman that he had screwed, or had been TRYING to screw... no. This time? He was confused by a woman that he'd TURNED DOWN. Yeah, go figure.

He walked through the halls of Reagan High, reflecting on the last time he'd spoken to her. It had been the night of the prom. They'd danced a few times, had fun... and then? The girl made the mistake of drinking some of the spiked punch. Before either of them knew it, the poor girl was asking Brayden if he wanted to have sex with her, more or less acting like she owed it to him for taking her to the dance. While part of Bray WANTED to (hey, chick was hot), he cared too much about her to do it. Instead, he'd simply kissed her sweetly on the forehead, and driven her home. So why, if he'd done the gentlemanly thing, was the girl now clearly avoiding him?

Finally, he walked into the library, grumbling as he dropped a few books into the return slot, wondering what the hell it took to do the right thing anymore...

As she had been doing for days after her moment of embarrassment at the prom, Mac walked her way to the school library to have lunch rather then the cafeteria where she was sure to run into Brayden. She had thus far been successful in avoiding the guy and not accepting the few calls he tried making to her. It was Mac's thought that the longer she routinely avoided the Bale boy, the less attempts Brayden would make in trying to contact her. It would hopefully lead to him giving up completely.

Who: Mac and Brayden(Open to continuation?)
Where: The Prom - Regan High
When: Evening - Saturday, April 17

Was Brayden crazy? Depending on who you asked? Possibly. He'd passed on taking all of the gorgeous young things that had been clamoring for him to the dance tonight, and he'd even passed on asking Dawn Summers, even though he suspected prom would have been a virtual lock for hitting that. No... instead, he'd asked the girl that was probably the one true FRIEND he'd made since arriving here: Mackenzie King. He felt bad for how people treated her, and wanted her to get to experience this. So crazy? Possibly. But for at least tonight... Brayden was a good man. Of course, seeing how jaw-droppingly hot she looked when he picked her up for their limo ride didn't hurt at all either. Now, as they walked into the gym, he was all grins as he had her on his arm. "You clean up pretty good, kid..." He said with a sweet, teasing tone.

To say she had been a bundle of nerves waiting on the porch of her cousin's house for Brayden to pick her up would have been the greatest understatement of the century. As much as she was wanting this night to go smoothly for herself, Mac was wanting it to be a night to remember for Brayden even more. He could have chosen just about any girl from Regan High to take to the dance, and he selected her as his date. So it was quite understandable, at least for Mac, that she make sure her escort had the time he deserved that night.

"I guess I do, even though it took me almost three hours to look this decent." Mac countered softly in her attempt to tease the guy back as they entered the gym with her on his arm in the dress Buffy had helped her choose for the special evening. A sight that was drawing the attention of more then one pair of eyes.

Monday - Dress Shopping

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Buffy
Where: Buffy's House and then various shops
When: After School

Mac walked slowly the distance from school to the house of the only girlfriend she actually had at the moment. Sure Brayden had recommended that she seek out his friend, Skylar to help with finding a dress for prom, but Mac didn't feel anywhere near comfortable doing that, so instead the teen left school to seek help in finding the perfect dress to wear to the dance in the form of one Buffy Summers. A slow climb of the steps brought the young girl to the front door of the Summers' residence and had Mac ringing the front bell with the hope that Buffy was there and she hadn't made the walk to the other girl's house for nothing.

Lucky for her Buffy actually was there. She was actually working on a bit of homework for her British Literature class (in having not declared a major yet, she was just kind of taking her grad requirements so far) when the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" she hollered before anyone else had a chance to react, jumping off the couch and running for the door. When she opened the door and saw Mac on the other side, she grinned. "Hey," she said to the other girl. "How's it going? Wanna come in?"

Chosing A Prom Date

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Brayden & Mac
Where: Reagan High
When: Monday morning

Brayden had deliberated all night the evening before on who his prom date should be. He could ask Camille (she and he couldn't stand each other, but he knew he'd get to hit it: bitch was EASY), or maybe ask one of the similarly popular, hot, easy types. But then it hit him. Someone who needed him, who needed the ego boost more than he needed cheap sex. So, that morning, he made a beeline for the locker of the one person in school he actually legitimately CARED about. "Hey..." He said, looking down at Mac as he saw her getting some books from her locker.

Mac had just been pulling out the books she'd be needing for her morning classes from her locker when she heard the familiar voice from behind her. "Hey." The dark haired teen giving a light smile when she glanced up to Brayden with her books cradled in one arm and her free hand tucking loose strands of ebony behind her ear. "Fancy meeting you here." Okay, so the comment was a bit on the lame side, but Mac wasn't actually Miss Social Butterfly, and quirky comebacks didn't exactly come easy for her.

Catching up

[info]turn_to_ash
[info]btvsal

Who: Ash, OT Mac
Where:  Mac's place
When: Thursday afternoon

The Man In Black, as he was becoming known to many in a (he guessed) mocking sense, had realized while recovering from his emotional rollercoaster that he hadn't seen many of his friends since Lucy had come back. A few things had become clear: the Slayers, the Werewolves, the Vampires, and a few select humans all remembered Lucy having died. Almost all 'normal' humans forgot it ever happened. With the other supernatural types... it seemed to vary. Some, like Cassie, forgot it happened, and seemed to just have a sudden clinginess to the girl. Others, like Paige, still knew all about it.

So, being that Mac was a Dreamwalker, he wasn't sure how she'd fall. Time to find out. Walking onto her porch, he stood at the door for a few moments before taking a breath and ringing the doorbell. He'd missed Mac, and wanted to see her, even if he WAS afraid of how this memory stuff was gonna go.

Taking A Chance

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Mac and Brayden
Where: Avarice
When: Evening - Saturday, March 27

Mac had finally convinced herself to take Brayden up on his invitation to join him at the club called Avarice. True it could turn out that he might not be there or if he were he'd be otherwise entertained and probably wouldn't want to be bothered with her, but Mac managed to push all of that out of her mind by the time she finally arrived at the club dressed simply like she normally was in a pair of black jeans and same color t-shirt with a denim jacket worn over. And when she showed one of the guys at the door when she reached the club's entrance and showed the man the black and red laminated card and said she was a guest of Brayden Bale the guy ushered her inside and led her toward the VIP area of the club.

Who: Mac and Camille, and then Brayden
Where: Regan High Cafeteria
When: Lunchtime - Wednesday, March 24

It was oddly enough when noon time rolled around and Mac found herself walking into the lunchroom that she didn't seek out a table tucked away in a corner where most wouldn't have noticed her, but rather chose a table settled in the middle of the cafeteria that had a semi clear view of the entering doors. After what Brayden had said to her the previous day, words which had continually looped thought her mind many times after he had left, Mac, though still a bit hesitant about her decision, was going to take a chance on the whole friendship deal Brayden had offered to her. It had her all shades of nervous, but hopefully once she saw him enter the lunchroom all the nervous flutterings she was feeling would fade. She could only hope that would be the case as she pulled out a chair to sit down at the table placing her bagged lunch in front of her.
