"Why can't I stay? You're no fun."

"You don't belong here."

"Neither do you. I want to stay."

"Not in a million years."

"Mom!"

"Quiet and wait for your friends to arrive. If this happens again, come to me right away!"

"It wasn't my fault. You probably did it, and you're blaming me! I can't even travel like you do!"

"I had nothing to do with this! Quiet!" Both sat in silence, and waited.

Who: Brayden Bale, OT any of the Future!Kids arriving in 2001

When: During Chloe's "Bring Bella Back" spell.

This was the part of practice that Brayden Bale didn't like. His band, Gravedancer, was in the concert hall of Avarice (relax, you don't know of it because Ben had it added on in 2004), with nobody there to appreciate it. Brayden performed because he loved the idolation that came with it. The girls, the chaos.... not the 'playing in front of a big empty room' part.

Of course... there was the part that came after practice, which he DID like. Where his friends (and Courtney) would usually come by, have a few drinks, and just shoot the shit for a while. It was the usual group, really. He'd hang out with Beatrice and Kim, and Karissa, Abbi, and Courtney would sort of slip their way in.

"Jesus, Rissa..." He said, watching the girl fidgeting like a crackhead behind her drum kit, even though they weren't practicing anymore. "What exactly DID your parents smoke during the nine months you were cookin'?"
