BtVS: Alternate Lives

Who: Sage and Rhys
Where: O'Roarke's Pub

Instead of paying a visit to one of the popular clubs that night, Sage settled on the pub as the place where she'd hopefully enjoy a quiet dinner alone after a day working at her new job. The girl was seated now in a booth taking a sip of her coffee after placing her dinner order of a patty melt and order of fries with her server. The only thought floating through her mind at the moment was going home after she ate and indulge herself in a hot, steamy bubble bath.

Rhys had an early shift in the morning, which was why he wasn't drinking tonight, despite the fact that he was in a pub known for its drinking culture. He was young, however, and it was expected of him to be at O'Roarke's, which was why he was there tonight to order himself a decent meal. He decided, before he entered the pub, that he wanted a parmigiana, and he sauntered in like he owned the place, asking the young waitress to seat him at a table... spotting Sage, he hesitated, and walked over to her instead. "Well, well. Long time, no see..."

Who: Sage and Camille with special guest star Delia Blake

"I really do appreciate you accompanying me on this little shopping venture." Sage was saying to her birth mother as the pair headed on into The Sugar Shack. This had been the second time since she arrived in L.A. and met her biologically parents that Delia Blake had escorted her newly found out about daughter on a shopping trip. With Camille having turned out to be quite the disappointed Delia was trying use her influence and mold Sage into the daughter she couldn't make Camille be.

Camille herself was cleaning off a table in the Sugar Shack. Yep, just another day on the job for her. This place wasn't have as interesting to work at as Avarice was, but it helped keep her in money, plus she only worked here part-time, so it wasn't too draining on her time. Plus, the tips were still decent. She was hoping to start a savings account soon so that, maybe by next year, she could start paying for classes at UCLA or something. She looked up when she heard the bell over the door ring, and then froze. It was her mom, which was bad enough, but...well fuck her if it wasn't a damn twin of her with her. Other than the tragic hair color, of course.

Living at the Blake Estate wasn't really all it was cracked up to be, but the Blakes were her birth parents, so Sage was trying to assimilate herself as best she could to their world. Or at least the world of Mrs. Blake. Sage didn't exactly agree with the woman's ideals, lifestyle or ways, but she was amending herself to her birth mother's way of living as best she could. It really was the only way she'd be able to become acquainted with the couple who had conceived her.

Entering the club for the first time, Sage was wearing a a short, black sleeveless dress with a light cardigan sweater dark gray in color worn over it. It was the "IN" place and definitely worth paying a visit to, though the young woman wasn't exactly enjoying the music. One could only take so much of the Blakes, and Sage felt she was entitled to a little time off to just be herself.
