OK, so I'm gonna take the votes that I got for nominations and post them here so that everyone can vote on them. For future reference, would it be easier for me and Dan to pick the nominations, or would you guys rather be entirely apart of the process? Just so I know.

Hello everyone, Erin here again!

Just reminding you all that I need some character spots filled. Here they are:

Warrick (War/Conflict): His appearance is that of a punk rocker, piercings, and spikey hair. Warrick has the power to influence people into starting petty fights or the demon himself will start fights by baiting people into them. This is a creature who thoroughly enjoys the role he plays in the world and has a personality to match. This spot has been filled by Jules.

Priscilla (Famine/Pestilence): Her appearance is completely waifish, almost anorexic looking due to her constant need to sate a hunger that cannot be satiated. Priscilla will almost always talk about being hungry and once she's set her eyes on something, no one cannot stop her from taking it. Her power lies in either sucking the lifeforce out of a human being or actual food which will cause said food to either disappear, rot, or become riddled with disease. Again, Priscilla's personality matches her role in the world.

Gareth (Conquest): He will look like an older business man the reeks of Old Money and he will be a powerhouse that will come out of nowhere, buying anything or any one in a particular field or through taxation. Gareth will become a tight-fisted tyrant in he's a position of leadership and has unlimited resources to use to get what he wants done.

Thanatos (Death): He will look unassuming, mediocre, average, someone you will not notice in a crowd. Death's touch kills in an instant, painlessly and silently. Thanatos has a quiet personality. This spot has been filled by Jess.

NOTE: If you're dead set against a certain attribute or aspect of one the available characters above, let me know and we can work something out. The only thing I ask is that their personalities described above remain intact. If you are interested in any of the characters that are available above, please comment this post.

Hey everyone! I'm back and fairly tired. However, if you want to do a scene with me, don't hesitate to start one in the community. I'll be checking back periodically tonight. :)

OK, I kept dreaming about Jack Delany last night, and it wasn't any sort of naughty dreams, it was character development dreams. So, I have to ask for this.

Some of you know all about Mere and Jack's pasts. Some of you have just been told it over the years that I've played with you, and some of it has been revealed in game. For the record, Jack's hometown is Sunnydale. His parents were hippies. When he was about fifteen, a new girl moved to town: Louise Thompson. Jack fell head over heals, and soon enough, Louise ended up pregnant. Her parents kicked her out, but Jack's parents took them in, because, well, they were just awesome like that. Mere was born when they were both about sixteen. For some reason, about two years later, Louise took off. No note, no nothing. So, the only woman whom Jack loved left him, causing him to have the serious commitment issues that he has to this day and seemed to pass down to Mere.

I'd freaking love it if someone was willing to play her. I originally, way back in the day, had the idea that she had been turned into a vampire, but that doesn't need to be the case. She could have just been overwhelmed and left. She wouldn't have been the first person to do just that, right? PB wise, I don't really have anything picked out, but she'd need to look A LOT like Mere. I would need someone who was willing to play her a good bit, though. So, no picking her up and dropping her to the bottom of the pile, please.

If you're interested, just drop a line here. I'd seriously love you forever if someone did this for me, though.

Proof? I just found out that on Thursday the 10th... my beloved Steelers' season-opening game against Tennessee is being televised out here in Boston. AND I'M GOING TO RECORD IT AND WATCH IT FRIDAY MORNING.

Seriously. That's like the equivalent of Eliza Dushku showing up at my door and saying "Hey, want a lapdance?" and me saying, "Nope! Come back tomorrow."

Ok, that's a lie, I'd tell you ALL to go to hell if Eliza showed up.

I've been RPing for four years now, primarily on LJ, and have played Dawn in a few other games. I'm excited to be joining you all and suspect that once I get up to speed, I'll be picking up more characters.

I know that Dawn has been around for a while and has some plotty history. Jess and Dan have been kind enough to fill me in on some of it, but to keep my brain from exploding, I am going to run a tiny plot where Dawn suffers some memory loss. Just a few notes, updates, and such.

First off, I would like to make the official welcome to both Claire and Amy. They both joined recently. Amy is playing Patience, Knox, and Eve, and Claire is playing Purity. They are both great players and, if you haven't reached out to them yet, please do so. I believe they both posted their AIM names on the journal somewhere. Just click the 'OOC' tag and you should be able to find them.

We also have some new characters to add to the mix. Here is the list as I know it.
Dan - Clinton Holmes, member of Gunn's gang who uses the street version of The Initiative's drugs to make him super strong and fast and heal really well.
Jim - Xander Harris, the dork we all know and love.
Jess - Max Tora, pickpocket member of Gunn's gang, Roni Smyth, psychiatrist to the supernatural, Anyanka, vengeance demon, Ally Hanely, stripper at The Body Shop, and Anthony Hayworth, guitarist and co-lead singer for Devilock.
Kellie - Edie Reagan, female lead singer of Devilock and witch.

Plots:
1.) Wolfram & Hart - Our plot against Wolfram & Hart is going along smoothly right now. Due to the contract that Lindsey signed with Ashton, no one can attack people on any side with bringing on some serious repercussions. They will be fighting in the cage in the alternate dimension soon. Gunn's gang will more than likely join up with the Slayers and Watchers for the fight, so that might even the odds just a tiny bit. We actually need to figure out a date in the next week or so that everyone can be on for that, because, well, pretty much everyone has at least one character in the fight.
2.) I Can Haz Apocalypse Nao? - This plot seems to have stalled a little. Nicole and Erin, when are we releasing the next horseman? Let me know what night would be good for you and I will be on so that Death can be let out. We also need to fill out the other three Horsemen. The proper list for them is here. Death has already been taken by yours truly.

Anyways, powertrip aside, this is Max. She was a street kid and pickpocket before running into Gunn and his gang, who managed to save her from an angry vampire who's pocket she had just tried to pick. She ended up joining up with them, and now uses her powers of stealing wallets to help fund their little enterprise, and will occasionally slay a vampire along with it. Her PB is Azusa Yamamoto.

I'm Claire and I write for Purity. She's a witch, and takes magic very seriously, for her its not just a way of life, it is her life. She's outgoing and confident but can be socially awkward because she spends so much of her time alone. I'm hoping to change that, though!

Hey guys, I'm bringing back two characters that I had retired due to different reasons. I kind of miss playing them, and the people that they mainly interacted with are being brought back, so I figured, hey, why not?

Alison is a girl who knows exactly what she wants, and that is money. While not an actual prostitute, she is willing to go pretty far for her money. She's a stripper that works at several clubs, including The Body Shop. Unlike most of the girls she works with, she does not feel the need to be bitchy or snobby to her fellow strippers, and will strike up conversations with new girls when she sees them. Of course, she realizes that sometimes customers like to have two girls dance for them instead of one, but that's not her only reason to remain friendly with the other girls. She was starting to become friends with Deanna when I had to drop her.

Guitarist and singer for the band Devilock. He's mainly seen in the company of his co-lead singer, Edie, who is falsely believed to pretty much dominate everything that he does. That just shows how little that people actually know him. So...ha!

Amy again. Figured I might as well post the other while I'm still awake.

This is Sebastian Knox. He's one of Gunn's gang with a real penchant for kicking undead butt (along with assorted other baddie appendages). He's a man of few words who prefers action, but he's not completely hot-headed. Less than a handful of people know where he came from and what brought him to LA - and he's not looking to share his secrets.

That being said, connections and stories would be loved. I'm more than willing to plot.

Hi, all. Amy here. Still relatively new, so I don't know everyone, but I thought I'd take a second to intro one of my new characters.

This is Eve. She's a down-on-her-luck succubus, meaning she feeds off of the sexual energy of her victims - whether through conscious one-on-one physical activity or by enthralling her prey into a dream-like state during which she seduces them, but leaves them with no tangible memory that anything ever actually transpired. (Just that happy - but drained - feeling upon wakening, lol.)

Her problem is that she has a tendency to fall obsessively "in love" with her victims - at least for a brief amount of time - and has trouble causing them any real harm. This is a matter of utter embarrassment for her, as she wants so badly to be bad, but somehow always seems to end up doing things on the side of good.

I'm very open to any ideas for play and I'd love to get her involved. If you wanna do something, let me know!

I posted this a long time ago, but there have been some changes, so I figured that I should throw it up again, and update it.

Wanted:
Watchers - The Watcher's Council kind of blew up recently, but there were always a few out there that weren't at headquarters at the time. Also, having a few more Watchers-in-Training wouldn't hurt, either. We especially need more of these.
Ronald Regan High School Students - We would like to see a variety of students at the high school. They can be supernatural, but they don't have to be.
Ronald Regan High School Teachers - Someone has to teach all of these kids, you know?
'Normal' People - Not everyone can be a superhero. Not everyone can be in the know about the supernatural. We'd love to see more people like this.
Lawyers - We would like to see more employees for Wolfram & Hart, especially lawyers. Of course, this place needs all sorts of other employees as well, such as janitorial staff, secretaries, mail room clerks, etc. You can either go with other lawyers seen on the show, such as Lee Mercer or Gavin Park, or you can make up your own.
Slayers - Yeah, I'm officially pulling the ban we had on them at one point. It probably got unofficially lifted at some time, but now I'm making it official. We have a couple of Junior Watchers who don't have a Slayer. Don't go mad, though. There were plenty from the show, and you can also make up your own. Get creative people, I know you can.
Gunn's Gang - I'd like to actually have a few members in Gunn's gang so that they can run around, kill vampires, and basically allow me to use him more. I love him to death and would actually like to break him out for more than the rare scene right now.
