I suppose I will ask this now as it's been quite some time.

The demons you've encountered thus far. The ones who resembled your loved ones. Know that they never left. They merely hide in plain sight.

I see you've all been made aware of the sudden return of the deceased. This was planned from the start. You see, the test was to determine whether or not any of you were capable of eliminating a target regardless of your humanity. Would you stand by your choice of pacifism? Would you crumble in fear and kill your opponent? Knowing how you will act against your teammate tells us how you will act when war comes. Some of you will fight to the death while the rest of you? It seems you few will have to be tested the most.

Our enemy is obviously clear - they're demons. Demons and other creatures from Hell that will trick you. Demons that will pretend to be human. Who will pretend to be even children in order to gather an edge. There can be no hesitation in terms of killing them regardless of how innocent they may appear. They're not. Nobody is. Even we angels have made difficult choices and we stand by them. Your revival should show that we do not take your lives for granted. You're here for a reason until we deem that reason inappropriate.

Please be aware that those of you who are not choosing to participate will be forced to do so.

This isn't something we take lightly. Some of you have chosen to rebel against a test that will help you in your quest to save mankind and we, as archangels, will take matters into our own hands. You may think of us as monsters but we promise you there is a reason for everything.

Those of you who do not face one another will find yourself in a different predicament. We will place you in an isolated field somewhere in the city where you won't be able to escape from. From there, your only choice of survival is to eliminate your opponent. Their death will lead to your freedom.
