Thank Merlin for magic. Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd be in a near constant state of feeling ill because of this heat. It's never this warm in England. The sunscreen is also very useful. I'd really rather not have to torture myself with long sleeves and trousers to avoid the sun, so this helps.

AVENGERS COMPOUND (MINUS THE WARDS):

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and we've had a good run with free rent and utilities and everything, but if the military is gone and they were bankrolling everything like our paperwork, what are the odds these places are still set up to be rent and utility free?

We should probably think of some kind of contingency plan. I've got a bunch saved from not having to pay rent, but at some point, that's going to run low. Anyone got any ideas?

I woke up this morning with a cat on my face.

The improbability of each of these facts is staggering, and yet here we are, as if the last four years had never happened. I can live with that. But the cat is another thing entirely.

Did anyone not wake up this morning in some kind of residence that they appear to be living in?

Semi-relatedly, did anyone who was here before wake up somewhere different than where they used to live? That's more just out of curiosity.

We're back in Tumbleweed, but as some of you may have figured out, the town is completely different than it was the last time we were here. There's an airport now, which my car navigation system pointed out, and it's on the opposite side of town from Fort Neill.

Of course, that's not the most startling or disturbing difference. Fort Neill is a graveyard, and I mean that in the kindest sense of the world. It was locked up when I got there. Got my way in to find a dusty military facility that has not been used in quite some time, and it looks like it didn't happen on purpose.

The military is dead, and I don't mean they cleared out. I mean there is an entire facility full of the skeletal remains of whoever was in there when something happened. That something appears to have been some sort of [...] feeding, possible animal attack. There are definite teeth marks on these bones, and the state of decomposure... it's not new. At least a decade, maybe more so it's not as horrendous as it could be to see.

I have not turned the power on; I don't want to disturb the bodies more than I already have, but I'd like for anyone interested in helping to come down to the facility to move these bodies — telekinesis, magic, or just standard issue gloves — so that we don't taint the bodies with our DNA. We'll have to keep the power off until that happens, and then there should be video monitoring we can check to see what happened, check databases and logs to see if there's any evidence of what might have happened here.

I'm leaving this open so we can discuss what to do. After scrounging around the base, I haven't seen any paperwork or IDs for those of you who arrived on the cruise so that's something we should work on immediately to get people in the system so they can work, get IDs, and whatever else they need. We'll need people who can make IDs and people who can get into the necessary systems for government agencies to make sure the back-end is taken care of in anyone wants to cross state or country lines.

And a warning to some of you who worked at the military before: yes, we knew some of these people if the names on the uniforms check out.

I am suddenly concerned about how I lived my entire life without a domestic cat around my house to enjoy the company of. I missed far too much, and will likely be catching up on it all night long because I'm far too entertained to sleep.

So apparently this possible flower crown of a Pokemon is really good at healing, which like...is very important. I don't actually know that much about Pokemon, but I wasn't really into the games when I was younger. My dad got me a pack for my birthday once, but mostly it was just magic kits and stuff. Thanks for posting information about the Pokemon on here, though, because I'd have had no idea and probably traded something we'd all apparently need. Also I guess it's kind of cute.

It had plenty of flowers to choose from on the boat, so it seems pretty at home now. I never really considered myself a flower Pokemon sort of person, but then I never really considered myself a Pokemon sort of person, so I guess that's not really surprising or different. King Quentin of the flower crowns, I guess. Or I can stick with Moderately Socially Maladjusted. It just seemed shorter.

Read these little animals don't need to be in their ball, so that's good. Feels kind of small. Also this one needs a name, not great with those so advice appreciated.

Do we have to throw balls at them? It seems mean. Especially for the shy ones. They spend all that time hiding from people and then as soon as someone finds them they get things thrown at them and locked in a little ball. Why can't we just feed it until it feels safer?

So apparently Ronan is the only one who knows how to actually dance a jig (unless someone else does who hasn't spoken up yet!) so he will be spending a lot of time between bars today, and performing dances a lot like this (minus the girl) and this.

He competed in Irish music & dance competitions as a kid, so he is actually very good. (Y'all are just lucky - or unlucky, depending on your point of view - he doesn't have his musical instruments here.) Slightly sloppier as he gets drunker, but still on point. And he will also be whistling along to the music as he goes. And dressed in a costume much like the dudes in that second video, except nicer, because it's Gansey's clothes and Gansey's clothes are NICE.

And even when he wasn't dancing, he had his Irish music playing full blast, with songs like this (he definitely danced to this one) and this and so on, you get the idea. Some of the music was actually done by him or his dad. You're welcome.

The street food of Agrabah is a delight to the taste buds, but I am afraid I am overdoing it with sweets. For those that are looking for something more savory, the food stall off the main market to the right in Agrabah is serving Shami Kababs that can do no wrong, as far as I am concerned.

Does anyone have any recommendations for sights of this kingdom before I move onto another? I have thoroughly exhausted all food options, so I am asking more about the art and culture now.

Judging by the alarmist attitudes of people apparently in the know, this isn't a Sherwood Forest or Camelot in the vein of Mel Brooks or Monty Python. Who do we speak to about making that happen?
