I figured we might as well all discuss what we're doing for Harry's birthday since it wouldn't really do to plan things and hope everyone else isn't planning something at the same time.

Now, he's never really had a party so much considering things being the way they were, so I'd like to do something with a cake. Lily, would you like to help me make the cake? If anyone else would like to help with the food, I have a list of things I already know he likes, so we can work with that. I'm not sure the party should be an 'everyone arrives and there's a party' thing. Just something with friends and family.

Remus, I think we can manage to set something up in the backyard. If anyone has any suggestions, I suppose it has been a while since I've thrown a birthday party for a teenager or any other aged child.

Attention portal-napped members of Tumbleweed.

Team America House is having a BBQ on Sunday. Some of you may know that we all came from a previous alternate reality where we were taken through a portal to Hawaii. As such, a couple of us have become obsessed with Kālua. Cooking in an underground oven. On the menu: pig. Don't worry, there will be vegetarian options on regular BBQ too.

Come join us Sunday at 1pm at our house for eats, and watch Bucky work his cooking skills.

There will be lots of food and music, so if you're free, come stop by!

Blackpoint people, this is non-optional for you unless you have to work or experience some sort of life crisis. Or you're Henry, because I know I can't win that fight.

While I won't say it's actually Butterbeer, the attempt they have at the theme parks isn't half bad. I thought the pumpkin juice was far closer to my memory of home. The best food they had was easily the cornish pasties. I had three helpings of those during the one day we were at Universal. And is it sacrilege to say that I enjoyed the Jurassic Park section the most in Universal? Helena had us ride the water ride a good four times. Not that I was complaining.

As for Disney, I'm really thankful we were in Animal Kingdom the day Hollywood Studios ran into all their issues. I don't want to know how it would have went over if I had to explain why we couldn't enjoy Toy Story Land. That being said, Toy Story Land was sort of brilliant.

This, however, was my favorite part.

Good news for this Monday. The Oldsmobile Coup I had been working on is finally up and running! Needed a few magical tweaks to it to make sure it was efficient enough to run a while, but it's all set. I've already driven it into the main part of this town and it seems that it's caught everyone's eye; saw many staring when I got out!

I will be glad to take any of my nearest and dearest for a ride if any of them so wish!

Good news, everyone, my EMERGENCY DONUT has been found!!!

It's an EMERGENCY donut because you break the seal only in case of emergency. And it's vacuum sealed to preserve freshness because my best friend told me being in "air" makes things "stale" and we paid WAY too much for this to let it go stale.

Murphy and I are taking a bus up to Montana. 1. Because I'm jealous of the senior trip kids 2. Montana is just about where my District would have been and 3. The scenery.

Those bloody Cornish Pixies took my glasses! Well, they didn't look like the Pixies of my world, but they certainly behaved like them. At least, what I got to see of them before they nicked my glasses! I hoped that they'd show up once the madness was over, but in the morning they were still gone. I had to take time off from work yesterday to go to the optometrist. What a bother! I'm practically blind without them.

On the plus side, I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses.

Glad I missed those pixie bastards.

I was looking for a Ford since I had read that it was one of the best, but I suppose the make of your Muggle vehicles matters little compared to the work behind it. But, I have gotten my hands on one at last, and I plan on doing some work on it.

Sidenote, I must say I may never get used to the fact that your old-fashioned method of taking photographs are completely static, but the Muggle way of getting around that is absolutely brilliant!

ATTENTION

As you may or may not know, The Pit has been under construction for some time now. Due to the delay caused by our Ocean Cruise, we've just recently finished construction on our dedicated Quidditch Pitch and are almost ready to received visitors.

We will be opening our doors, so to speak, on Tuesday May 29th at 8 AM. However, we invite everyone to come out to the premises on Sunday May 27th. We will be having an open house on that day so if you've never seen Quidditch in action or how a broom flies, you can come get a glimpse ahead of time. We are planning on a full day of pickup games and will be showing everyone how the game is played should people need explanation.

The Pit is user friendly and if you've ever had a dream of mounting a broom and taking to the air then we are here for you. While we have rental brooms available for all Wizards and Witches, we also have brooms specifically designed for use by non magical patrons. That's right. You do not have to have magic in order to participate.

I've provided a schedule of what we currently offer here. There will be lessons available beginning on opening day and ideally, once we have enough interested people, we will begin to have weekend matches in the near future.

I'd like to discuss something with both of you. As you know, I've been working on creating a pensieve. Since I did help, Julia has given me a dose of the potion that they've come up with to stop memory updates and the physical changes that come with it.

She offered more potentially, but I'm not entirely certain who to offer this to. I wanted to discuss this with you before I made any decisions since I feel as though we have quite a few people who would benefit from this.

Thanks to the dude with the wings, Annie and I have a space to sell our crap besides Etsy. We're looking for someone to stand post at the front of the store while we work. It's called Wood & Waves and we're at [address]. I mean, I think we are. Are we, Annie?

Tomorrow marks 7 months of being here. I was on a boat and dating Murphy for most of it.

Right so, I ain’t sure when we’ll be actually needing this, but I’ve gone and set up an emergency location for the Displaced for whenever shit hits the fan and we can’t go staying here in Tumbleweed. While I’d really like something like those bracelets we all had on the cruise for teleporting everyone no matter where they might be to be around for use, they just ain’t. Hit me up if’n ya think you can make something like that.

I’ve been working to finish adding up housing options and gotten some people to help limit the path of the local fauna that might’ve caused us all some issues if they were allowed to run around everywhere. It runs on solar power and backup generators. Wind power is getting installed soon once I figure out where would be best to go setting it up. There’s a greenhouse that’s already up and running and livestock are getting settled in this week.
