Yes, yes. Emma, you've just done this, calm down little lambs, this is a different kind of announcement.

Following some thought, and my desire to never have to sleep in a cabin ever or be on a bus of hormonal teenagers, we're shaking things up a little.

On June 18th, while our illustrious leader is preparing for the birth of his child, who will most likely be named after at least one dead person (I'm taking bets), we will be departing Tumbleweed on a luxury airplane. Yes that's right, no bus. We're also not going to the back roads of the most boring road trip ever, it's Senior year, you're all becoming adults, it's a passing of time.

We will land in Florida, arrive at Disney's Beach Club Villas where every three students will require one adult to stay with them. We will then spend the week enjoying the full range of Disney's parks and amenities, including the Animal Kingdom, the Lagoon water parts and Epcot, before flying back home relaxed and ready to graduate into adulthood.

I do understand Mr Summers already took names and sign ups, and that supervisors came forward for the trip, however, given the rather extensive change in plans, I would understand if people wished to withdraw no, I wouldn't. If I could get a quick head count on who is going (if you weren't previously going but now would like to, please say so) and the chaperones?

With summer break around the corner, I was wondering if there is anywhere in particular that you would like to go or something that you would like to do.

Looking at the internet we really wouldn't have any problems if someone found pictures of our Pokemon online. There's heaps of drawings and art of what they could look like in real life and some of it's really, really good. And then some of it's really bad, and some just looks like it came out of someone's nightmare. (This is Gizmo. The little black ones.)

I'm sort of working on designing a backpack that converts to a harness bag I can wear if I morph wolf. It was okay not being able to carry anything at home because it was 2002, no one had phones, but it would have been really useful in the ports on the cruise. It wouldn't work if I wanted to fly or swim but I spent a lot more time on foot anyway.

I've been playing with a recipe for kibble that's based on what we fed some of the injured animals my dad got at his rehab centre, I can show you if you want. I really was not missing the summer heat here. Do you think we could just stick with April weather? I'd appreciate it.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who helped during these last few weeks while the Resettlement Bureau was getting on its feet. The primary goal of the organization is simple: greet new arrivals and set them up with what they'll need to get on their feet here. That means paperwork, helping them acclimate to Tumbleweed and Earth, finding their housing. The secondary goal is to study the portal, to see if there is a way we can figure out its agenda, where it came from, how to stop certain creatures from coming through or at the least, being prepared when they do.

These are now paid positions. If you were volunteering before, just come see me if you want to transition to paid.

I've rearranged my schedule with Howlett Gym. If you were taking my Tuesday and Thursday sword-fighting classes, I've moved them from the evening schedules to 7-8:30am.

I think that's the first time in years monsters have attacked and I got to go away from where the fight was and just hide in a reinforced superhero base until it was over. It felt weird, but it looks like it got handled. Did anyone get hurt or anything?

That was a lot of beeping Actually I thought school would feel weirder just because of the tiny classes and not having to pretend that aliens exist. But it was just like a mix of the classes on the boat, classes at home, and hanging out with Ax, Tobias and Toby. There's only a couple of months left of this year though so... I'd better make sure I do plenty of studying in the evenings too.

I know that we have people who have disappeared, and I am sorry for it.

However, none of the townspeople seem to remember what happened yesterday. Everyone I've spoken to has mentioned a gas leak and mass hallucinations. This is very odd.

To keep you updated on my plans, the gym will remain open. I'm still working out the details on exactly how and it might involve a very small membership fee but it will only be what's needed to keep things running.

I am also considering setting up an area on the ranch where Pokemon can spend time, especially the ones that don't resemble any other animals here. That won't need much ongoing upkeep but I suppose someone could offer babysitting as a paid service if people wanted to be able to leave them there while they go to work. We bought the land here, it is not something that came through like people's houses, so even if I disappear someone will be able to take over the property. The gym as well.

This place reminds me so much of Mon Cala that I almost expected to see Prince Lee-Char and Captain Ackbar greet me at the docks. I'm going to try every bit of food I can and see everything in their museums.

There's a play tomorrow we could see. Something I've never heard of, no doubt, but you might.

Since we've mostly got our battle plans sorted I want to talk about evacuations as well. There's getting to be a lot of us and in a crisis things get confusing so knowing in advance what to do will go a long way to making sure it goes right.

• Almost all the time when an evacuation alert goes out there's not going to be time to do much except get to the lifeboats on Deck 6. You should probably check where they are at some point so you know where you're going.
• A lot of us have pets and I know no one wants to leave them behind. If they're out with you that's not much of a problem but otherwise you should pick one person per suite to go and grab them if there's enough time. We have to be realistic that sometimes there won't be, and I'm not just saying that for everyone else - I always have at least my budgies that are confined to their cage and sometimes my Eevee stays behind too.
• Relatedly, Rogue suggested that it might be a good idea to pack a go bag for emergencies so that if there is a little more time you can grab it instead of trying to figure out in the moment what to bring. You shouldn't need to worry about food and things, so it's better to pack light so we don't take up too much space. A few clothes, medications, things you really don't want to leave behind.

Now the important bit, not leaving anyone behind. We need a way to know who's already boarded a lifeboat and who hasn't, which Tony should be able to do using the bracelets. (I'm assuming?) We also need a couple of people for each floor who can do a quick sweep to make sure everyone's left and to make sure the lifeboats are boarded efficiently. You will most likely be the last people to leave, so keep that in mind. For floors 1-4 and 7-10 that'll probably be banging on doors, for the others a quick check of all the public areas. Then when that's done, get to Deck 6 to help load.

I've only evacuated towns and cities before so please weigh in on any of this ^ if you think there's a better way of doing things. And if you want to be a floor monitor or floor captain or whatever, sign up here. 18+, minors should go directly to the lifeboats. Everyone else make sure you know who's responsible for the floors you spend most time on.

adding: Since each accommodation deck has their own lifeboat, based on Anakin's experience it's best to stick to what's been assigned. People responsible for clearing the matching floors will also have the final call on when to launch, even if someone's missing. So, make sure you have a decent idea of who should be there and make note of whether any of them are clearing public decks and can be expected to take a little longer. Tech, I'd still like a way to check people off as they board lifeboats if we can so we know if anyone hasn't turned up. The way people come and go it's going to be more reliable than memory.

• Make sure your floor coordinators know who's in charge of fetching pets so they can expect who'll be around
• There was talk about swimming lessons for anyone who doesn't know how which I would definitely recommend, having literally been marooned on a Caribbean island
• Gansey's going to check with the robots to see if there's a way to teach some people to row. We do have a couple people with water powers which would be the ideal but let's try not to rely on it.

From what I can tell, it's a luxury cruise ship. Most of what I've seen seems familiar to cruise ships on Earth, but who knows so make sure you're careful until we know exactly what we're dealing with.

I've noticed that there are some sort of medical facilities here in the mansion, but I don't know exactly who is qualified to use them.
