We really need to convince the portal to throw us into surprise cruises during the summer months and not winter like it seems to enjoy doing.

Now that would be nice. It would probably mean missing less school for the teenagers as well. I know they had some on the ship, but jumping around like that doesn't make for a consistent curriculum.

Yeah, getting the EPS set up was definitely important for that. I think there are still a few students at the public school, but not many.

Quite often there's very little to understand about memes. I suspect in a lot of ways it's just in-group signalling in that it can't be easily deciphered without already being familiar with internet culture.

The first one is from a song by a 90s boy band. The actual line is "it's gonna be me", but it gets misheard a lot because of the way he pronounces it so it's been grouped in with a few other date memes like April 25 and October 3rd. I think most of the appeal is just that you can only use them once a year.

The second gif, I have no idea where it comes from, it just came up when I was getting the first one.
