I think that's the first time in years monsters have attacked and I got to go away from where the fight was and just hide in a reinforced superhero base until it was over. It felt weird, but it looks like it got handled. Did anyone get hurt or anything?

~~That was a lot of beeping~~ Actually I thought school would feel weirder just because of the tiny classes and not having to pretend that aliens exist. But it was just like a mix of the classes on the boat, classes at home, and hanging out with Ax, Tobias and Toby. There's only a couple of months left of this year though so... I'd better make sure I do plenty of studying in the evenings too.

	I didn't do much school growing up either until I got with the X-Men. Mostly taught by my mothers while we were moving from one place to the next and it wasn't no conventional curriculum. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah. The main ones look like big slugs normally but they crawl into your skull and take over your body. The only good thing is they need this radiation that our sun doesn't put out so they have to come out every three days to bathe in a Kandrona pool. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

They preferred humans because we have decent senses and a proper society and things. Andalites are sort of equine and they're the best because they're shapeshifters but they've only ever managed to capture one alive. One of the ones that died gave us the morphing technology so we could try to hold them off until the Andalite army arrived. They took over a lot of Hork-Bajir as well because they're covered in knives and look pretty scary, but they're actually herbivores that evolved blades to strip bark from trees. We worked with their resistance for a while.

	Ours were technically aliens, but they seemed a lot like monsters. A few were okay but I think mostly any that didn't want to take over other people's worlds just stayed home. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Like a hologram, but with mass? That's how Pearl explains it. Their gems are like their brains. When Peridot got hurt, she poofed and went back into her gem. It worried me a lot.
