Yeah, I know. I've been a very boring Jack lately since I've mostly just been working and being irritated that the Master wanders the TARDIS freely. Time to get back to having fun, being social, and just basically being more like my usual charming self.

So! Who's up for a little fun (and probably some trouble)?

Well, this place can go jump into the Void. But at least now when you shout for a doctor, you've got better odds of getting a proper medical one instead of a mad time-traveling alien. Silver lining, that.

Well, it's been nearly a week, and we're still short one Time Lord. Clearly he does not want to be found, but as the days go by, I grow less concerned with what he wants and more worried about how he's faring.

Seeing as our resident sandshoe-wearing Doctor has taken ill again, I think our absent friend ought to be informed. The younger model has agreed to let me take his TARDIS out to track down the older one.

Anyone up for joining an intergalactic, time traveling search party? Captain Jack, I'm looking at you.

I promised Handy I would dig up some games and entertainment for him before I left. Is there anything you need from the TARDIS? I'm hoping this will be a short trip and I'll be back with the Doctor in tow, but in case it isn't, I don't want you to be left in the lurch.

I have made... a lot of fruity breads, all in the mess kitchen. Banana, blueberry, apple cinnamon, etc. I need more supplies for fruity breads and also maybe an intervention.

Taking requests for next baking project.

Anything to distract me.

Aaaaaaaaaand back to one heart. I'll just ... take myself back to medical, I suppose.

I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I'm starting to realize there's an awful lot of used up and discarded soldiers here.. I don't know about the rest of you, but settling into civilian life isn't the easiest thing for me. Thankfully I've been fortunate enough to make some pretty good friends here, also fellow soldiers, but I know that's not the case for everyone.

So for any of you out there who are feeling a little lost without your team mates, crew members, brothers-in-arms, superiors or your troops.. you should know you aren't alone. There's more of us here and most of us are relatively nice. Well, as nice as war-torn veterans can be. So you don't have to be alone, if you don't want to be.

Cosmo is okay, but this is all too strange. Cosmo thinks it has something to do with the Cortex. Device was removed from Cortex and then all this happenink. We will fix, do not worry.

This is so unfair! Everyone else has fun, weird stuff happening to them and I get nothing! Seriously Giant Head universe? Nothing at all? Give me a break!

Right. So, if you come across somebody who looks like this, responds to the name Mels and/or is looking for the Doctor, play dumb and pretend you don't know who the Doctor is or where to find him.

Oh yeah, and don't let her know I'm the Doctor. Until further notice, refer to me as 'the Professor'.

Long story short, River Song reverted to her previous regeneration, Mels, who was raised from an infant to assassinate me. She's been trained to recognize all my past faces, but she wouldn't know this one. I'm trying to keep her contained in the TARDIS for as long as I can. but I've got to trick her into trusting me. Got it? Good. I don't feel like repeating myself.

I've got two hearts. This is brilliant! Look at me. I'm jogging in place. Well, don't look at me, because I don't have the video feed on, but just imagine it, because it's exactly what I'm doing at this precise moment. Medical, I am quite pleased to give your bed back to you. I'll be moving into the TARDIS for the time being. Not sure if this will last, mind you. Feels a bit wibbly wobbly. This future, I mean. Entirely in flux.
