I think a spell went wrong.

I'm looking to get a job at the University of Tumbleweed to teach physics and biochemistry at the masters level if possible. Does anyone have any information on how I'd go about doing that? Or if someone has need of a physicist, biochemist researcher at your organization I'm happy to entertain other options.

Between the forced captivity and the whole "Central City doesn't exist here" thing, this is definitely the worst interdimensional travel I've done so far.

Black social history was part of my Masters so I should be able to give a good overview of what shit's gonna be like in 1953. I'd say get a snack and a cup of tea, but I guess MREs and water will have to do.

Honestly, the best thing we can do is establish ourselves outside the town. We want to be considered separate and in charge of our own affairs. Even those of us who look acceptable aren't going to know the nuances of social conventions and suspicion of anyone different in a small rural town in Texas is going to be bad, especially with resources scarce. But we probably will have some contact with them, so anyone who's worried can come find me and I'll try to help you out. If anyone else specifically studied this time period it would be great if you could speak up too.


Apart from that I'm good for patrols, helping to build things, scouting, whatever. I might be able to do up a map of where the birds are finding water in the area, but I can't promise it will be helpful for this many people.

This is Ahsoka Tano. I'm able to connect to our network, which has been active in most worlds we've landed in, and I'm writing this in the hopes that someone else is out there. I've landed in a pod that seems to have some sort of power dampener. I was unable to use the Force while in it, but after releasing myself, I feel back to normal.

If you're out there, please let me know. I don't know what kind of world we've landed on, but the terrain seems extra dry with the potential to be hostile. If others are out there, I want to find you; there's safety in numbers.

This past week, two people were approached by military personnel for use of their powers in a public venue. The second incident led to the military detaining the person, even though it seems they did nothing harmful. The pamphlets received yesterday seem to me to be tied into this.

The situation is being monitored but I wanted you all to know so you can be aware and to try and limit any use of your powers to private locations natives won't be able to see.

Did something happen? I got a pretty unusual pamphlet today, and while it doesn't pertain to me, if my sister were here it'd affect her.

Situation: The military has taken Rogue (the younger) into custody over a visible use of her powers in helping clean up after the carnival. While this has not been illegal at any point and she was clearly using her abilities in a gesture of good will, tensions in town since Wanda's incident are undeniable. And following Remy's run-in on Monday, the situation is definitely escalating.

We're having a MANDATORY meeting tonight at the mansion, 1930 hours in the Situation Room to refresh safety and invisibility protocols, legal rights, and discuss our next course of action and concerns. We're currently assembling a legal team and will take this fight as public as necessary. We have also invited representatives from other displaced groups to this meeting.

We can't be the only ones noticing the increased tensions between the townsfolk, the military, and superpowered individuals since the "gas leaks" of the past few months, but in the past week, we've had two incidents of our kids being officially accosted for benign if not beneficient use of their abilities in public. The incident today led to our younger member being taken into Military custody where she still is.

This is something all of our groups need to be aware of and be actively discussing. We can't ignore this clear escalation. We're having a meeting at 1930 hours and inviting you lot as representatives of your groups to get us all on the same page before discussing this with the community at large. I think we've hit most of the larger groups but if anyone else needs to be here, invite them.

I think I can safely say that the only decent thing about man's world are ice cream and the cars.

Okay, two things.

The past months have involved living in a mountain on a post apocalyptic earth and being stranded on a deserted island and yet the weirdest thing so far for me has been sitting through a day of school and nothing out of the ordinary happening...

I'm also happy for the stables in town. It's good to have horses around that are definitely going to stay put.
