CHARLOTTE WELLS
Your newest resident has added a great deal of magic to his room, for what purpose I am not yet certain, though it does not appear to be dark or corrupted, and it is not his own magic.

I'm heading out of town for a couple of days.

I just wanted to let people know.

It seems far easier to blend in here than it was in Chicago. Back there people were particularly aware of who I am. Even out in the community. Here, people find it to be an unfortunate name coincidence in which my family must have some unusual sense of humor. If they knew my family I at least have managed an interview at the local hospital. I am suddenly far more grateful than I was before for the modern invention of air conditioning. This place is unreasonably warm. All of Miss Swann's things are It feels strange not to talk about her at all, but she is not here

[Filtered to any possible NA group]
Much as I am certain I hate groups like this, it is possible that I may have a need for it. I didn't really want to ask the entire community if one existed, so I thought I'd try this.

Apparently Koko the gorilla died. She was really famous for learning to communicate with scientists using a modified sign language of about a thousand words and how much she loved cats. Apparently she knew death happens when you get old (she was about five years past the life expectancy of a gorilla I think) and when they asked where gorillas go when they die she said "comfortable hole bye".

Marco had a gorilla morph but I never got one. I think I'd feel too weird. They're too much like people, really.

[Mr. Ethan Chandler]
Mr. Chandler, I have a rather accomplished magician at the house who provides his services in exchange for rent. Was the room not meeting your personal requirements? I can assure the house is well protected.

Help me, I'm seventeen and I have no idea what I want to do in college. I mean, the obvious answer back home that some of my friends who have read my stories would give me is "Creative Writing, duh!" But, I can just hear my dad's voice when I start thinking of college, and his voice is usually telling me to go for something practical and "promising". Engineering? Yes, do that. Or accounting! Or computer science! Or medicine because we'll always have those to fall back on even if half the jobs in the world get taken over by robots!

And then I land in a new world back in NYC (I swear to god, I feel like I've been a portal refugee and stuck at 16 for the past 4 years), and thought "oh, hey, a chance to do anything I want without criticism!" And my mind just... blanks out. This may have been a lot easier if I was really back home in Jersey City with my family.

We've never had a pride month in our world, but the more I read up about it here, the more I think it was probably a good thing. We didn't really have such open prejudice in our world. The biggest one was benders against non-benders, and that was mostly short-lived.

Nonetheless! I've got my Vespa all decked out in rainbow flags and all, I'm ready for that march in Houston!

Sometimes I love the internet. Pride dice on Kickstarter. So I'll be getting me some of those.

Sidenote, we should definitely play some kind of campaign. We = if you would want in on this and Matt Holt.
