For those of you literally fresh off the boat, you may come to [address] to pick up your new documentation. Driver's license, social security card, and whatever else you might need are all ready and waiting for you. If you are a minor, your guardian will need to be the one to pick up your paperwork.

Unfortunately my suggestion that some of the more famous or ridiculous names be replaced with something much more common, Severus Snape being both famous and ridiculous for Sylvester Snipes which is a much, much better name for example, was overruled. Only your actual names will appear on the documentation.

A number of folks here have worked very hard to replace whatever government presence there was and help get things back up and running. For the documentation you may thank Smart Loki, Quentin Quire, Jo Harville, Matt Murdock, Ianto Jones, Rick Jones, Integra, Scary Alucard, Jason Todd, Slightly More Attractive Loki, Kurama, Pidge Gunderson, Sam Winchester, Tim Drake, and Ezekiel.

To keep you updated on my plans, the gym will remain open. I'm still working out the details on exactly how and it might involve a very small membership fee but it will only be what's needed to keep things running.

I am also considering setting up an area on the ranch where Pokemon can spend time, especially the ones that don't resemble any other animals here. That won't need much ongoing upkeep but I suppose someone could offer babysitting as a paid service if people wanted to be able to leave them there while they go to work. We bought the land here, it is not something that came through like people's houses, so even if I disappear someone will be able to take over the property. The gym as well.

I must confess that I don't know what to do with myself without a system to protect. I'm so used to going over budgets and filling in security holes and fixing breaches that I find my apartments a very cold place now. My nephew doesn't burst in to ask me questions. My advisers don't seek me out to ask opinions. I thought it would be freeing, but I'm not so sure.

It seems that Pumpkin and Bounsweet have become the very best of friends. I find them nestled together in Steven's laundry basket in my bathroom. From time to time, they enjoy running around together near the river. Pumpkin has decided not to sleep with me when I decide to rest my eyes. My insides hurt.

For those who are not already regulars and familiar with the Howlett Gym schedule, I teach a class in nonmagical defense against magic, a particular specialty of mine and one that I would argue is exceptionally useful in a place like this. It is open anyone, including magical folk, who can alternate between magical sparring and nonmagical sparring, to help others practice and to learn the skills themselves to fight without their magic.

In fact, I would greatly appreciate more magic folk joining in, to give students a wide range of types of magic to learn to defend themselves against. Alina helps me regularly with her light magic, but as she is not allowed to actually cut anyone in half, she sometimes gets bored with blinding people.

If you have an ability that is technically non-magical but makes you more powerful than the average person, I might be willing to work you in as well. Let me know if you're interested, and we can discuss your abilities beforehand so that I can formulate a lesson plan. This has always been on a volunteer basis, or rather you would be considered a regular participant in the class; however, I might be willing to pay a few people out of my own pocket if they bring important skills to the table, especially since I know money is a concern for everyone right now. If that's something you're interested in, we can discuss it further, and of course the gym owner, Laura, would have to sign off on it as well.

The class meets Monday through Friday, 4 PM - 5:30 PM. I hope to see you there.

Hey guys, I just wanted to check up on you guys and Millicent. I know cats pretty much take care of themselves through the whole process, but I should warn you that cats typically have a gestation period of 64-67 days. So that she's probably due any day now, if I was anywhere near right about how far along she was.

Okay, so it looks like Loki and crew have gotten everyone's paperwork who came in for their photographs. As far as I know, everyone's documentation is done and if you want to verify, Michael can let you know.

The base itself is as cleaned up as it can be without extensive repairs. Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time. We could not have done this without you, and hopefully, we can find some way to repay you for your help. I also want to thank those who supplied food — particularly Tony Stark and his quick thinking in setting up donations for our fellow Displaced who would have gone hungry waiting for their paperwork.

We're looking to go off the grid, electricity wise, since the Starks are clean energy types who are willing to help there. We also are currently working on a budget for staffing the Resettlement Bureau to make sure that anyone who wants to work there can have funds enough to survive here, to pay for repairs to the facility itself and upgrading the technology inside.

We're going to need different positions to monitor this portal. We have no idea if the locked down door means the portal is dormant. We have no idea what killed the people inside, so that's something I think we should look into. We don't know if it's a person or a thing or multiple people/things. We don't know if it's still around. We don't know if more Displaced are going to show up or how we'll get them out of the portal room if they do show up.

Some people have expressed concern as to why we're not turning this over to the military. Short explanation is: when things come through portals or from the sky, they usually end up in medical labs to be experimented on. They did not trust the Displaced. As I stated in my other post, the whole building has been created with whatever it is they have that makes it so no powers can be used. Now maybe that was to put them on even grounding with us since some of us come through quite hostile. No blame, being ripped from your own world is stressful so I get it. They were right to worry as whatever came out of the portal killed everyone in the base.

Peggy Carter has been working with a budget and several Displaced members who have offered their financial assistance. They are working out the details of what and how this can happen. Ideally, we would like to offer the Displaced positions to help their fellow Displaced (potential, since we don't know if anyone or anything is going to come through that portal). I'm currently looking into digitizing the paper files to free up space here so we can have some redundancy to the paperwork.

The medical area is clean, but we've found vaccines there from the ship. We have confirmed that they are the same vaccine from the ship, thanks to Vivian Vision, who synthesized it on the ship and here. The stock has not gone wrong in any way, but if it's been there for 20 years, I'm not sure how that's possible. Scientists? Is that something that can happen?

Operation move back into my empty house is a go. It was one thing when we were living with just us kids, but I don't really think I can live with our parents again. Not that I have a problem with them, but you know. I need to be on my own.

How are the kids doing?

Okay so when I was alive the first time around, I was basically a horrible person. A dumpster fire. A dirt bag. Being dead and faced with punishment and all that, I started to learn how to be a good person, even though I didn't really think I'd ever get to the Good Place.

Now I'm alive again and the only thing I've been doing for the last twelve years is sell crappy medication to sick and old people to try and weasel them out of however much money I could, but I don't want to do that anymore.

So, crowdsourcing here. What kind of job would a good person get?

The farm came with my hens and vegetable garden. It's not exactly enough to feed everyone, but if you need a little help over the next few weeks, I can at least promise some fresh eggs. Maybe some fresh vegetables, too, if they grow well enough.

I'm happy to be back to school. I've gotten back into the swing of things and I've found out that I received grant money for when I start school in the fall. Architecture degree here I come!
