I must confess that I don't know what to do with myself without a system to protect. I'm so used to going over budgets and filling in security holes and fixing breaches that I find my apartments a very cold place now. My nephew doesn't burst in to ask me questions. My advisers don't seek me out to ask opinions. I thought it would be freeing, but I'm not so sure.

I was the Duchess of the Mandalore system. Star system, that is. I also represented the Council of Neutral Systems.

We were in the midst of a war in my galaxy when I was taken here. The Republic against the Separatists. There were many planets who wanted no part in the war and chose neutrality. I was tasked with leading them.

I would most certainly enjoy hearing about it.
