That whole ordeal reminded me too much of New York City. Not my actual world's New York City but the city that I was in before this one, the same one that had people from other worlds show up in it who we thought were fictional and stuff. We even had sparkly versions of vampires and Box Ghost. Every once in a while, there was some huge thing that happened and some of us superheroes rallied but most of my time spent there was going to school and living a partially normal life.

Which is the super weird thing about memory updated that the universe likes to give you. You suddenly have all these moments and they are very much real and it's all about how your life was all crazy for several weeks in a row, and meanwhile, you've actually been chillin' in another universe for the past few years.

Anyway, good show, peeps. That teamwork was awesome, I've gotten so much inspiration for my fanfics from that!

Nico, I want to go out and get real food, and the most ridiculous iced coffee nonsense you can dream up.

I got my hope up for a moment that I was actually back at Brakebills and then I remembered them saying the Cottage was here. Which is just great. The Universe could have done me a solid and brought something useful, like Brakebills, and instead I get Animal House.

And when the hell did we acquire a cat in here?

I need to find another place of residence. Alina? Teddy? Do you have a suggestion?

SCOTT SUMMERS, CHARLES XAVIER:

I realize that asking you to house Anakin Skywalker is a big request. I understand that, but he's trying. We've been working together, and he is trying not to go down the route that he is destined for in our world.

He and Padme have broken off their relationship, and he needs a place to stay. Scott, you once invited those from my world who needed places to stay to the mansion. Is that offer still good?

Pretty sure I'm just going to curl up in Wynonna's room and pretend things are okay for the rest of the day take a nap now that we're back. I feel like I haven't had a proper night's sleep since we got to the old Texas.

Having acted as a doctor once more, I am not entirely certain it is something I can give up doing. It is what I am just as much as anything else. I wasn't meant to be a librarian.

Hey, so, you know you're back in your accepted proper time when your daughter makes you snap out of sleep in a panic because she's got Disney Channel turned up so loud that the walls shake. Good times.

But I was so happy to be in our apartment that I couldn't even be made. We made pancakes and curled up on the sofa to watch Sofia the First. Did you all know that there is such a thing as a Princess Ballet? Evidently you don't just dance with your arms and legs but "with a joyful heart." I may have paid way too much attention just out of relief to be on my couch at all.

Strange and yet reassuring things to wake up to: the realization that your cat knows how to open the refrigerator.

On that note, Pep, we need to restock the lunch meats.

I know I should've mentioned this earlier, but things were, well, y'know, drought past times with what looks like added monsters and then surprise full moon, so minds' elsewhere, yeah?
