I know I should've mentioned this earlier, but things were, well, y'know, drought past times with what looks like added monsters and then surprise full moon, so minds' elsewhere, yeah?

Anyways, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Pete's gone back.

[The Marauders]

So, that pod thing. Who wants to make that happen again? Possibly with more elbow room and more comfortable seats?

Yeah. I'm sorry. Maybe he'll come back again. Or some version of him anyways.

Yeah, he was early in the game. Plus their world seems more limited than a lot of the other universes out there.

Aw bleh. I didn't get to even talk to him much at the Avengers House.

Bleh is a good word for it. A VERY good word for it. Maybe he'll come back. Give a second chance for all that chatting.

Bleh is a pretty good word to describe the part of the universe that's responsible for this, TBH. It's such a jerk.

Quick, come up with some words so we can give the force that brings us here the acronym of BLEH.

Blasted Lord of Evicting Habitants?

Ha. Good start. Although I'd hate to give it the title of Lord.

It's going to think it is, regardless, I think.

Just because it's thinking it doesn't mean we need to give in immediately! Gotta make it work for its lordship!

Next thing you know, people are dying left or right for it to be King/Queen a la GoT.

Yeah, let's leave that all for HBO. So much better as a TV thing than everyday thing.

We'd be foolish not to. We should get in touch with our people at the military and see if there's any of those pods in storage from our stint in '53.

Yes. Brilliant, Moony. I was about to say, I wish the pods had come back with us.

I'm on the fence about it. Part of me really hopes there is access to one, so we can try to alter it to our needs, and part of me is concerned about them having it and using it potentially against us someday in the future.

I bet our inability to get out of Quarantine when we arrive has something to do with one of those pods, too. Not that I minded Quarantine, but, well...you understand what I'm trying to say, I hope.

It's an advantage they have on us, especially as, well, if they've had it for this many years, who knows what exactly they've learned over that time while we only have a few days of tinkering.

Which, well, added incentive to ask? Other than the obvious benefits to us, if they do have them and how much access they're willing to give could give a litmus test of what they might be thinking with 'em.

Oh, definitely. I don't think we should refrain from asking. I just meant I'm on the fence about wishing we had access to it. It's got potential to be very useful and cause more issues, is all.

That's a very good point.

Was just tangenting, because, yeah, I get that, because, hey, overthinking! Like, y'know, trying to stop the possible second guessing of 'but what if they haven't thought of anything and us asking for the pods might make them look at them further'. Even though they likely have already combed over them if they had them because what else are they going to do?

So, who should we ask to ask 'em? I think Widow's in with them, but what other options we got?
