TALLINN, Ee. (AP) — Tallinn authorities say the 17-year-old Vol who was victim of a kidnapping attempt last week has been successfully transferred to the Jägala Army Base where she will be escorted to the International Vol Institute (IVI) in Australia.

The Vol, whose name has not been released, was held in a containment facility by IVF authorities after an incident earlier this month which injured the Vol's mother and an innocent bystander and left parts of All-Linn blockaded for over six hours. Her first transfer attempt to Jägala Army Base was marked by an unsuccessful kidnapping attempt which ended after the Vol crashed the automobile she was held in only miles from the Latvian border.

Estonian authorities have not yet released word on whether the culprits were the same as those who have been attempting kidnapping at Vol schools worldwide or copycat kidnappers. Investigation is expected to continue even after the Vol arrives at the IVI. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
