Monday afternoon, Yael went and spoke with everyone who mentioned interest in being part of the video project (and feel free to jump in now, if you didn't get the chance to before or changed your mind!). As she mentioned, she wanted people to think about what they wanted to say, and she offered to either let them record it on her laptop with her webcam or record it on their own and send it to her to edit them together by the end of the evening. She suggested messages be short and sweet, but also allowed that people could bring their personal experiences into it if they wanted, as long as they didn't go over four or five minutes.
If anyone said anything that fell outside of what she asked for -- anti-IVF, pro-VR, critical of IVI, et cetera -- she either cut those parts or didn't add the video entirely, depending on how much of the content contradicted her goals. That is Yael for you.
She emailed the video to everyone involved when it was done, if they wanted it for themselves, but also asked the Vol Club people to post it on their blog. She put it up on her Facebook page and then emailed it to several major news blogs, most of whom posted it within the hour.
Here you can comment to describe or transcribe what your character said in their message, if you want!
