Yeah, I saw it. And yeah, I saw how Mason basically just declared his exploratory committee for President of the Vols.
I shouldn't be so petty, but it doesn't help that they just created this new humanitarian crew here and I didn't make it. Can't say I blame them. My powers aren't much use in that kind of situation or any, but still.
I wanted to do something, to matter again. Much easier to pretend I don't give a shit. What's the point of this stupid power if all it gets me is kicked out of Dartmouth, locked up here, with no opportunities to get back my old life? Clearly I'm not the only one who feels somewhat derailed from their life plans, but ... I don't know. It's all shit. And it's unfair to tell you that, because you can't do anything either. Better to pretend.

Yeah, I saw it. They chose a good cross-section of people here. Different ranges of abilities, backgrounds, and interests - so long as they were relatively good for PR.
Things are good here. They started a new humanitarian group. Didn't apply, my power isn't exactly the right fit for that kind of thing. Besides, I'm too busy trying to stay up on my studies.
How's Imogen and dad? Has it finally stopped snowing? Going to the Marathon next week?
