It's another bustling Thursday morning at IVI. Even this early, before the day's first classes, the grounds are abuzz with energy, urgent whispers about the new couples du jour, the recent kidnappings -- and of course, the debut of the VILF list, Swan edition. As she hurries off to math class after a sunrise yoga session, Whitney taps out a text to her favorite Swan of them all.

Glancing up from her phone as the message shoots through, she recognizes a familiar mop of blond hair ahead of her and a navy canvas satchel -- Mikael! She's just about to prance eagerly to his side to let him know that, silly thing, he forgot to zip his backpack up and to ask if he's seen Clara at all 'cause she's supposed to return these notes to her -- when a single sheet of paper flutters out from his bag's open flap.

"Hon! You dropped something! Hey, Mi -- "

But before she can manage to get his attention, she finds herself poring over the page. It's a list, numbered 1 through 25, color-coded and all. After a thorough once-over, twice-over and yes, four more careful read-throughs after that to confirm her suspicions, she neatly tucks the incriminating document into her purse and texts the guilty party she's closest to.
