Week Fourteen: Friday

Who: Blake and Davia
What: Tomfoolery
Where: Heaven and Hell
When: 10 o'clock and thereafter

In an odd twist of things, given history, Blake was starting to worry just a bit about Nell. When she popped into their room her twin was yet again not there, which was turning into a more common occurrence. Normally Nell was always somewhere that Blake could find her, she was used to that and had been for years. But now Nell was slipping off, probably with their catburglar too. Not that Blake was worried about that, Nell could take care of herself, but it was still just an odd thing to think about. One of those things that made you want to test the temperature in Hell.

Though she doubted the hell she was going to would have anything wrong with its temperature. This island was not exactly the biggest place when it came to operations, so there were going to be a ton of people there. That combined with summer heat outside, well, there was not going to any chance of hypothermia there. Sliding into a pair of old jeans and favored teeshirt, she stole a belt out of Nell's things and headed out, slipping a wallet into a pocket as she locked up the room. Still had to work on those booby traps to catch the next attempts of Nell's manfriend.

Heading out to her destination, she looked down at her watch. Eh, she had plenty of time to get there. Not like she had really spent much time with this Davia girl, but hey, Blake was always up for some fun. The girl seemed nice enough, and Blake would be lying if she did not think this school was boring as hell. Sure they had their club and their little things going on, but there was no life like New York City, and this place was a pale substitute. Still, you were probably less likely to be running into someone non human in New York. Seemed like there wasn't anyone here that was just human after all.

Pulling out a cigarette, she lit up as she got closer to her destination. Meeting up outside definitely had the perks of actually finding the person. But meant that she actually had to be looking to. Scanning the people outside the joint, she took a drag as she tried to pick the other girl out, if she was even here yet that was. Looking back at her watch, she was only a few minutes late.

Week Fourteen: Thursday, July 4th

Who: Charlie, Nell, & Blake
When: Thursday evening, after sunset
Where: slightly away from the main action, but still in view of the fireworks over the beach

Charlie was kinda craving some good barbecue and all the fixins that came with it, but he wasn't feeling terribly social. Besides, while Cassius was normally a very well-behaved dog, Charlie didn't think it was wise to tempt him with the smell of grilled food. The leash, while not always a necessity, definitely had to be attached tonight, and the second it was hooked onto the collar, Cassius seemed to realize he was expected to be on his best behavior. Poor pup.

Charlie needed to behave as well. He hoped he wouldn't spot Caibre or Kat, because while he'd promised Davia he'd leave the two alone, he didn't know that he'd keep his promise if he saw them. It was best if he just avoided any sort of run-in.

Wrapping the leash around his hand after throwing on a thick black hoodie, jeans, and his boots, Charlie left his room and headed out for a leisurely stroll toward the beach. He was aiming for the area that was more rocky. Sand wasn't really his thing tonight. Neither was company, but he'd said he'd meet up with the twins, and he wasn't gonna go back on that. Hopefully they'd find him though, because he wasn't about to go searching for the two of them among the crowd that had already gathered near the shore. Instead, he kept his distance, plopping down on a large, sharp edged rock, patting it for Cassius to climb up and join him.

The dog's nose was working overtime, smelling the sea, lots of people, and of course... food. But Charlie had pocketed some biscuits along with his keys and phone, so he offered one up from time to time, keeping the boxer moderately satisfied. "Sorry, dude, but I can't let you go over there and raid the grill. Sucks, I know, but they might make you go back inside, and neither of us want that." Cassius munched on his treat before letting his head fall into Charlie's lap, resting there. Charlie looked out at the water, waiting for the show to begin, scratching Cassius' ears all the while.

Week Seven: Thursday

Who: Everyone who received an invite, and their guest (Check Wes' page, if you're not sure about an invite.)
Where: Gun Smoke Tattoo
When: Thursday Night
What: Shop Warming party, and small gig

There was a goal here. After living in Vegas, having been to so many bitchin' parties, your standards for them rose. The normal, punch, and cookies, with a shit ass dj, lurking in some corner, wouldn't cut it here. Hell no. The goal, was to make this party, just as fucking killer, as any party he'd been to in Vegas. To make those parties jealous even. With the help of his friends, and brothers, it seemed as if that was going to happen. All the elements were in place, now it would be down to those in attendance, to make the most of it. Wes was sure of one thing, he was going to have an amazing time, there would be no stopping that.

The Spooks had been a huge help, in their time on the island. While Wes tended to his classes, they took care of setting up for the party. Doing little things here, and there. Anyone who came into the shop after that Monday, would notice that certain things were off. It was all in preparation. Now, it was ready, everything was good. A bar had been constructed against on the walls. Bottles, upon bottles were either stacked beneath it, or on the packing crate shelves they had built last Monday. Wes had been told that there was more than enough liquor... he was starting to question whether it was enough. Also available at the bar, one would find certain goodies upon request. That was one good thing, about knowing drug dealers. They made excellent party guest. Aside from the bar, another sofa had been added to the sitting area, similar to the one all ready occupying the space, but not nearly as detailed.
Let the fun begin. )

Week 2: Wednesday Evening

Who: Ada and Blake
Where: Wandering the hallways, somewhere
When: Wednesday evening

After the bitch-fest between Ada and Kat on the journals (which Kat had obviously won since Ada didn't have that much bitch in her unless she was dealing with idiotic record execs), Ada was obviously livid. After immediately storming to Rhett's room for the obligatory spill session in which she explained the events of the past couple of weeks and might have even thrown a couple of things while she went off. It still wasn't satisfying enough to let her head back to her room and have a peaceful rest of the night, so she went wandering instead.

She didn't stomp through the halls, she was too mature for that, but the quick steps and the way she carried herself simply screamed that she was fuming. And Starbuck hadn't even stood up for her. Well wasn't that just wonderful.

She didn't even know where she was going, but keeping moving seemed like the best action plan at the time. Unfortunately, her progress was fast and pretty much blind. She was about six inches from smacking into a much shorter person before she realized it and slammed on the breaks, taking a few startled steps back. "Sorry," she said, shaking her head. "I should really watch where I'm going."

Week one: Wednesday

Who: Adam and Blake
Where: the kitchens
When: Wednesday afternoon after classes

Adam was frankly excited to meet Blake, as their conversations over the blogs amused him to no end and it seemed like being friends with her would be very interesting. First of all, they were going to make fig pie together - something that he'd never heard of until they decided upon making it. Securing the kitchen for their preparation wasn't that difficult, and Adam waited in front of the doors to it so he could easily meet Blake. Granted, he had no idea what she looked like, but it might be someone with a mischevious twinkle in her eye. He leaned against the doorframe as he waited and let his thoughts wander.

Darn, he couldn't stop thinking about his date with Dallas and that was going to make him on edge during the time he spent with Blake and that would hardly be appropriate. He tried to concentrate on something less appealing, like... oh, he had no idea. Damn. Adam crossed his arms over his chest and focused on the crack on the wall. It seemed to be distracting enough for the moment and he glanced down the corridor for Blake. True to his word, he had found a whip for her, as true friends followed through with their promises to get weapons. This was more sexy than anything else, and he hoped that she could find use for it.

His plan for setting up Rufus hadn't seen life as of yet, but at least it might be a little bit easier than helping Blake - not that she specifically asked for his help. The least he could do was be the best friend possible, because he didn't have very many friends yet. Truth be told, he liked having a group of good friends, like he had in China, because now he was a bit lonely. It wasn't as if Dallas and his brother's company wasn't enough, as it was quite suitable, but he hadn't relaxed in true Adam style as much as he wanted. Maybe this time with Blake and his date with his girlfriend might cheer him up.

He wondered if they'd have the same sense of humor in person like they did over the blogs. A person offline could be quite different, not that he was like that. Adam prefered to give anyone he talked to all he was up front so there was no pretense. In fact, he didn't like to keep secrets from the people he cared about, which was why he told his parents about being a wereleopard straight up. The best method to say something harsh was to nonchalantly mention it with all the other bad things, so they'd overwhelm each other. Not that he'd have anything to hide from Blake. Anyway, they were just laidback, easy going friends and a no pressure relationship was exactly what he liked.
