The Harvest Feast will take place in a little under two weeks' time. I am very much looking forward to the Feast on Asgardia. I imagine it will be quite different from the feasts that we used to have on Asgard.

I hope that our friends at Stark Tower are planning on coming to Asgardia to attend the Feast.

Most of you know I've been researching our, uh, situation - our sudden shift in locales, actually. I'll start this off by saying that I come from working for a bureaucratic organization called the Time Variance Authority (TVA) - it exists out of any concepts of time or space and was created to preserve what was formerly the Sacred Timeline, which is the timeline most of you were pulled here to this pocket universe from. Everything on that timeline was written out already, by an entity called He Who Remains - omnipotent, knows everything even down to the very last letter of the last sentence uttered by you before you turned around and found yourselves here. Anything that wasn't written and happened to branch off (sometimes that happens) was 'pruned' - taken care of in a way I won't go into, but it wasn't pleasant and for eons he had brainwashed plenty of people pulled from their own timelines to do that work for him.

He Who Remains shouldn't remain any longer - he's dead. Except our trip to the TVA showed us that - he probably isn't.

He was responsible for creating the TVA and for creating this pocket dimension too. Studying the frequencies emitted by our universe, its various readings, have shown us that there's no danger of it branching - it's not going to go into red line territory like other timelines would have, the ones that needed pruning. However, the activity within shows that we're all kind of being moved around like chess pieces, and the universe is one big game board. I think Tony called it a video game - it's kind of like that.

As someone who was recently hit with a lot of hard truths and a lot of uncertainty about what to do with them, I realize that all of this may be difficult to handle. But I'm here to answer any questions, or go over any of the output from our trip to the TVA. I've got the files saved on my TemPad and can pull them up for any interested parties. But I just wanted to be truthful about everything, because I know we were all confused and confusion often leads to some bad stuff sometimes. Hopefully this will cut it off at the pass.

I'm back. There's a few changes in New York. A.I.M. has always owned the Tower in Tribeca, where you all once lived. I learned that the hard way after I portaled in. Qeng Enterprises appears to own the oldest Avengers Tower, too. That's different than before.

The Sanctum hasn't moved. Nothing has changed at any Sanctums. This Earth is still protected from interdimensional and mystical threats. And despite all of these breaks in our reality? This universe remains fractured but whole.

Before anyone asks where I was: it's hard to turn down a summons from the patrons of the Mystic Arts. They wanted me to take part in a 5,000 year war on another plain of existence. It took some time not to piss them off.

This is certainly new. I'll be hanging around for a while, I guess. Don't worry, I'll try to make myself useful.

Well, I ate a whole pizza (sidenote - don't recommend doing that, even if it has been a hot minute since you ate something not served from a dusty, soulless, sci-fi cafeteria) and had more iced coffee with the sugar-free syrup and the actual reduced ice so I think I'm good to go now. With the introductions.

If you were trying to get back to your place after midnight, you might have noticed the security lockdown. Ends up that Rogue chick went off the deep end and attacked a couple of people staying in the Tower last night. I'm down with her on the SHIELD floors and we're taking care of it.

She's safe. She's in a holding cell. She's not talking. We don't know who we can trust yet and the psych profiler is compiling an assessment from remote brain scans. So we're limiting visitors.

Didn't want anyone to be in the dark. I'll update if we uncover anything.

So I find myself in a new room now. One place one moment then new place the next. Not that I have complaints. New room seems much better than old place. I am tired of being kept in a cage and controlled.

I went outside for a walk and the smell is interesting. Like coffee grounds. The trash cans are overflowing with food which seems like waste. People sometimes clean up after their dogs and sometimes do not. Now I will figure out what to do here. Maybe try a coffee that has iced cubes in it, but I will not let them take me back.

So I have returned and it appears as if this universe is not finished with me yet. Much has changed since my last foray - some good (traveling to and from Wakanda is infinitely more convenient; I appreciate the ease of the gateway even if Shuri continues to vet my clothing choices before I make the trip) and some not so good.

I have heard tale that the rat responsible for my father's death is among you now. I will have his head on a pike by lunchtime. Do not attempt to stop me.

Marcel Proust once quoted "the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes." There is much to see and learn with these 'new eyes,' so to speak.

My journey has led me here, it seems. To this world, and I continue to have questions. I remember so much but have actually experienced very little. It is a profound disconnect and I hope to do away with this dissonance in short order.

I know this dates me, but does anyone remember that part in the first Austin Powers movie with the chair that dropped Will Farrell down into that room of fire? If not, here's a visual ref.

Steve has decided to retire from the superhero life. He's giving up the Captain America mantle and is no longer living in the tower.

Update: I've received confirmation that Thor and Jane are also missing.

I've tried everything I can think of, but I haven't been able to find a way to sleep longer than a few hours at a time. My dreams are so I am welcoming any suggestions.

So here's the reality -- I am your only medical doctor right now. Stephen counts technically but we all know he has horrible bedside manner, and I'm much more approachable. I am worried that in the event of a whatever (which could be anything because reasons), we don't have any field medics. For that reason, I'm offering a first aid course next week where we can go over some basic first aid, field dressings, and maybe amputations for those keeners ;)

Jokes aside, let me know if you're interested or if you have any prior medical experience. I could also use an assistant, nursing or admin, and I'm okay if you have no experience or are still a teenager. In fact, I prefer a teenager because they don't know labour laws yet. Haaaaaa, kidding again. Seriously guys, help me out here so I don't joke myself to death.

Some of the new arrivals aren't aware, or likely aren't even part, of our situation. They aren't displaced, but I can see their fates are coinciding with our own. So from now on, I'll be using a displaced filter for those of us from another universe. Those coming from Genosha or that were already a part of this universe, won't know what we're talking about. Or it may take them longer to understand.

I wanted to let you know that the spell net over this city has registered some departures. Hope, Wanda, Phil, T'Challa, and Bucky are gone. This universe is unpredictable. I don't want to sound hokey, but treasure those you have for the time that you given.

I have a week off work and nothing to do. Which I guess is the point of having time off work, to relax and regroup and recover from pretend pneumonia (kidding, I actually asked for time off, had tons banked).

While I'd like to get this done in the near future, it's not so time-sensitive that it can't wait on your work.

Before someone asks for me to stop a bunch of angry teens: We monitor mystic or planet-wide threats, and this doesn't qualify for our intervention. I believe it's a matter best left up to the police, SHIELD, or the Avengers.

There's an important mystical conference I have to attend. No, I can't discuss the details. I don't know how long it will take.

Effective immediately, the Sanctum Sanctorum will be locked up and warded against all outside intruders. We've arranged for some of the Mystics to watch over and protect the building.

They will not answer the door. They will not accept texts or phone calls. They are only there to protect the Sanctum, and will not act unless it is a large scale mystical threat to this planet.

There's been a subtle shift of metaphysical energy within the dimensional rift. Anyone who is psychically sensitive or manipulates energy has likely felt a little off.

It's not at a dangerous level, but I can see someone's already had a dream. I think we can expect this to happen over the coming nights.

In the meantime, it's being monitored by myself and Wong for any abrupt changes.
