Hey everyone, how's it going? It's Peter. Peter Parker? Um, which you probably already knew because of the way the network goes, but anyway -

I've had a lot of dreams lately? The freaky alternate universe kind? Things there didn't go so well. If anyone else gets the same memories, I'm definitely, definitely not a terrorist or a criminal or anything like that. I promise. But I'm Spider-man? That's a thing? Which probably isn't a super big deal because I think like 95% of you already know, but I just really, really needed to come clean here before someone else made that decision for me.

I know I said I was Mr. Stark's intern when I first got here, and that's technically true on paper, but there's...y'know. A lot more to it. Keeping this whole thing a secret from the outside world is really important to me - I've got family and friends to protect. I know it's a lot to ask, but if you guys could maybe help me keep that cover up, that would be the coolest thing ever.

Oh - and if Spider-man's a new thing to you, just look up 'Spidey's Top 10 most Epic Fails (Bus Faceplant Included!)' on youtube and it'll give you a gist of what I can do. If anyone has any questions? Or something? Or if you need me to rescue a cat from a tree or stop a robbery? I'm here to help. It's just really great that you're all here and not dead or off-world or retired or something because that was the worst and

If someone named Quentin Beck ever shows up in this universe from the other one, can we...not trust him? Is that a thing we can do?

Hey, do you think we could do some spidey sense training soon if you're not busy or anything? A lot of that memory dump was a disaster - it wasn't working half the time.

I don't know if you had any dreams too, sir, but I'm really, really sorry about all that. You were a little harsh at points, man, but I'd say it's a pretty good thing you have more than just me to help you out in this world.

🙏for helping me keep things quiet, man! Whatever you do, definitely don't look up the Spidey-geese incident. I'm pretty sure that's on BuzzFeed's top 5 list of most cringeworthy animal attacks caught on camera. Which is fair.

...Dude, that would be amazing, let's do it! We should see how much momentum you could catch in those boots if I swung you super high. For science.

Hey Dr. Palmer! This is seriously the nicest of you. I don't know good I am with self-care stuff, but I have a pretty great aunt who makes sure I don't push it too far. She's going to be really happy that I've got some medical back-up. I can't really go to normal hospitals cause they would know something's up, so what you and Dr. Banner are doing means a lot.

I promise if I ever use your doctoring skills I'll make it up to you. What kind of food's your favorite?

Ugh, too much happened. This guy Quentin convinced me he was here from another universe to help, but it turned out he was orchestrating all these crazy threats around Europe so he could look like a hero. The last thing I remember is him framing me for everything he did and releasing my real name. My spidey sense was so off the whole time - I mean, he hit me with a train cause I couldn't feel it coming. It came through for me in the end when I needed it most, but I definitely don't want to be caught off guard like that again.

And. um. Not all of it was bad, at least? Some really good things happened too, at least. It's been a lot to take in.

It's good that you experienced the positive too, but I understand it being a lot to take in and settle.

On one hand, I guess it's good to know I can survive something like that? But on the other...it sucked. Big time. Sometimes it feels like these dreams are just really huge lessons. It's nice to get a heads up on one dude who might want to ruin my life, at least.

I can always provide cookies. The vegan chocolate chip ones, from the cafe, are my favorite.

That is a good way to look at it, like it's a tale of caution rather than your immediate future. I am glad you can survive a train but that still sounds painful to have to heal from.

It's a good speech. I give it a 10/10.

That's because I knew what I wanted and needed to do. And I'm kinda bad at applying the brakes before doing stuff. Anyway. Not everyone is me and I think the general consensus is that one me is enough. Just ask Pep.

You did good with your first step. What makes it better? You did it on your own terms.

I've got Friday tracking down this universe's Beck, so we can keep tabs. Also, we've got a training area set up in the tower after knocking out (and shoring up) a floor so there was added ceiling room. So if you ever want to practice as an official Avenger, you're covered.

Thanks, Mr. Stark. It's kind of a relief to have out there, but I'd give anything never to have to do this with the rest of the world. Ever. No idea how other-me is going to handle any of that. Or my aunt? I'm pretty sure I can feel her freaking out from a universe away.

Better safe than sorry, right? I hope he doesn't cause any trouble for his own sake too. I mean, he could do so much good with the brain he has. It's wasted on the whole moustache twirling boring villain stuff. More ceiling room sounds awesome?? I'll definitely stop by to test it out. It'd be so cool to have a place to do off-duty swinging!

I can't believe I'm advocating this but one step at a time? For you, that's probably a good idea. I can almost feel her freaking out too and it's somehow my fault because OH RIGHT ITS MY FAULT even if I'm dead over there. WTH.

She has a last known address for him but he's vacated. Did I ever tell you how hard it is to track down tech geeks? We'll keep an eye out. He's got to turn up sometime.

Meanwhile, practice room's all yours so you got Avengers clearance. The holographs and nanites are in there too, to make things more realistic. Nothing freaky deaky, just ask Friday for whatever and you'll be there. Turkish bazaar? Done. Sky's the limit.

I mean, the sky limit is actually two floors high in a former office building, so there's a limit you might hit. I'm looking at getting rid of a third floor. Don't tell Pep.

If you need to warn me about someone, I'm going to need to know what happened.

Also, I wanted to test the boundaries and extent of your senses if you're up for that at the end of the month. The basement might be a good start as far as residual entities go. I'll see what I can dredge up to add to it.

Gotcha. It's a really long story, but he tried to kill me and my friends and pulled some crazy destructive stunts across Europe. He made it look like he was the good guy while using drone tech to create trouble he'd have to heroically clean up. His illusions are no joke. I hope the guy in this universe is keeping his head down, but the other one is bad news. If you have any other questions, I can answer them for sure.

Definitely, I'd give that a go! Wanda's been helping me out a lot, and I think I'm starting to make a lot more sense of it. ...And when you say entities, what kind are we talking here?

We can take that up a few notches. Using the sort of dark entities that throw things at you in the dark.

Don't worry. I keep the basement locked and warded with spells for that reason.

I know you have a closer relationship to Tony than most of us here, but I can give you a crash course in how to keep your hand on what's out there about your identity. I'm betting you're a pretty smart kid so you won't have any trouble picking it up. I know Tony probably has his tech and AIs giving us cover but I'm sure you'd feel more comfortable being able to do it yourself.
