Back home, trying to get all of the Weasleys into one room is a bit like trying to herd bees. I've been told that it's not much better here. Worse even, owing to a large extended family of friends and relations. Still, I thought it might be fun to try to herd the bees, maybe down to the mini-golf green. A couple dozen children and adults, food, whiskey, and golf clubs. What could go wrong?

But, seeing as we are about to pull into the Lost City of Atlantis (really, what's that all about?), looks like the proposed clan gathering will have to wait. What do you think, though? Any interest?

From what I can tell, it's a luxury cruise ship. The hospital is taking sign ups for people to dress up and visit the kid's ward on the 23rd and 24th for Christmas. Claire organised this last year and absolutely nothing weird or implausible happened. It works best if you have a costume, uniform or distinctive outfit that's been seen in a tv show, movie or comic book that's pretty well-known. Books usually aren't visual enough and video games don't get as much advertising so fewer people see them. A good rule of thumb is probably "can I buy a Halloween costume of myself?" (That means you Steve Rogers I don't care if you're not Captain America anymore.)

I am free from my mandatory staycation on the army base and have randomly been reacquainted with my owl. He apparently came through when I did, though quite frankly I would have preferred the magic portal send my future wife instead of a bird. Just for the record.

I don't have any room to talk bu I didn't like the creatures, but I do feel a bit sorry for them. The way they change so radically and without seemingly any control over it. It would make for a very disconcerting existence.

On another note I realized that I have been here nearly a year. I suppose that is a good thing.

As many of you are aware, we had a containment unit set up for the Mogwai. We had a large majority of the population in this unit. As of this afternoon, however, all of the Mogwai have seemed to have disappeared. Our monitoring systems have allowed us to confirm that one moment the creatures were in the facility and the next they had vanished; much like what occurs when one of our own Displaced returns back to their universe.

We highly suspect that any Mogwai, or Gremlins, that may not have been kept in the containment unit have also vanished. If any who still had a Mogwai in their possession could please confirm it's departure, it would be greatly appreciated.

We'll keep an eye out for any stragglers over the next few days just to be safe.
