I think now that I'm a bit more settled, I should introduce myself. Hello, my name is Bella Hartley. I was born in Australia, but because of my parents work we lived all over the world. I've only recent come back to Australia and finished school before I was brought here.

I like to sing, I actually was in a band back home. I love swimming and being out in nature and I'mI'm also a mermaid. I only transform when water touches my skin, but I can do other things too. I can control water and turn it into either a jelly substance or glass. I was nine years old when I changed and living in Ireland at the time.

So yeah, that's me. I guess this is going to be my new home for a while.

I'm torn between wanting to be super excited to visit a place with more elements of what I call home.. or disappointed because I know for a fact that this Atlantis isn't Dad's home, so I won't be seeing him there or my half-brother.

Then again, if I saw either of them, I'd worry that we suddenly are in my world, and would basically tell everyone to scatter because most of the gods are total dicks. Sometimes, that includes my dad although he's not as worse as others.

Since we're talking about emergency plans, a message for the tech geeks. Dr Aphra and Ezekiel Jones are discussing a command centre to handle communications - both alerting everyone to emergencies and making sure no one gets cut off during an active situation. I'll also be there to keep track of the information we receive and assign tasks to mobile response units so we don't get some things being forgotten while too many people go somewhere else and I believe Charles will be with us as a telepath. If anyone has hardware or skills that would help, they're the two to talk to.

Personally speaking, I can work with a whiteboard or pencil and paper if I have to but coding an interactive map of the ship I can manipulate on a tablet would be more effective. I can do it myself but I know we have some coders around who might be able to do a better job.

Incidentally the Coffee Bar is actually ridiculously good. Let's not have aliens steal all our coffee this time.

You may have seen already that someone is organizing some patrols to make sure this cruise remains safe. I don’t think they’re a bad idea, but I didn’t want to speak for all of us. Are you two interesting my in joining me?

Alright, fellow passengers. Now that I am back on board because you kind of can't stay out in the ocean forever (I mean, I need my sleep too, and I am for certain that Dad's underwater palace is nowhere near so.. SO.. moving on), a couple of things to note:

- I'm not sure if it's legal to fish for things around here or anything but there are actual normal marine wildlife around here. As far as I can see, really. Just do not hunt for sharks. Those poor guys are endangered enough.

- Thanks to my dad, I'm able to usually see or sense navigational lines in the waters. And unfortunately, I can't see them. At least, I can't see the latitudinal or longitudinal lines in these waters. So, I'm about 85% sure that we're not on our Earth's oceans. The remaining 15% wonders if it's just my powers, although the rest of them seem intact. So, hey, even if we were able to steer the ship (which I doubt), we'd not know where to go anyway, unless someone else can sense them.

- You CAN swim in the ocean if you feel like swimming with wildlife but for safety's sake, since these are still mostly unfamiliar territory, I'd suggest letting someone who is a water-related expert here (like myself or Remy although I can only volunteer myself) know first, so you can get back to the ship safely.

That's basically it. I think I'm going to go collapse in the suite now.

All the times that I was grumbling this past week about my older siblings showing up and taking over and acting like they run the place even though I've only been here for like two and a half years, more or less on my own and totally managing without them, I take all of those times back. Cause secretly, I was kind of enjoying having them around in the same place we just run into each other for the first time in like a year cause it's been so long since they've been here and not like fifteen thousand decks away from me.

I'm really sorry. So can you maybe rearrange them closer to me again? I'll make you an altar on the poop deck or something.

Stating the obvious aside: we've made another jump. Some of you remember (and would like to forget) the Prettiest Star space cruise ship. This one is on water this time. From what I can tell, it's a luxury cruise ship. Most of what I've seen seems familiar to cruise ships on Earth, but who knows so make sure you're careful until we know exactly what we're dealing with.

I believe what they've told me about the situation here, but I'd like more first hand experience. How long have people been here? Is there an average expectancy in which people are likely to be here? What is being done to ensure that we make it back to our home worlds, and how can I assist?

The hospital is taking sign ups for people to dress up and visit the kid's ward on the 23rd and 24th for Christmas. Claire organised this last year and absolutely nothing weird or implausible happened. It works best if you have a costume, uniform or distinctive outfit that's been seen in a tv show, movie or comic book that's pretty well-known. Books usually aren't visual enough and video games don't get as much advertising so fewer people see them. A good rule of thumb is probably "can I buy a Halloween costume of myself?" (That means you Steve Rogers I don't care if you're not Captain America anymore.)

I wasn't sure if I was going to go to the ball, but I already bought my dress. I can't sit and dwell on Dash's disappearance forever. I'm sure I'll see my family again though I certainly would prefer them arriving here rather than me leaving.

Besides with finals starting next week I really need a day where I don't think about my classes. I've studied so much this week my head might explode.
