[Team Wakanda]

If your cats are hungry, I have come across a feast.

'kay, so I went into the waters thinking I'm going to get me a Squirtle or something and I get a bunch of stuff that I never freaking seen before. I haven't been into Pokemon since before I even found out I was a demigod. Were 150 Pokemon not enough? Where's Bulbasaur? Charmander? Leo'd have loved a Charizard. Heck, I'd have loved a Charizard. I wanted an Articuno! Who decided 151 Pokemon are not enough?

So my pick of water Pokemon ain't that great. I'm not keeping something that looks like a spider, because my girlfriend's got a phobia. But, hey, I've seen Eevees. Anyone has one to switch with me, let me know.

I got this adorable lil one following me around the last three islands I've been to so I think we're gonna be calling him a member of the family.



I reckon he's a fan of the electromagnetic fields me and Anka Irene keep putting out. Ain't too sure what he's called though.

And alright. I need to admit that I'm a lil in over my head here and need suggestions on how to teach my daughter that she can't go creating or destroying whatever she would like to at the drop of a hat.

She seems to be picking up on the cues when I ain't all that happy that she decided to go making things outta thing air or disappearing things. But that kinda only works as an after the fact thing. Not a preventative one. Ten month olds ain't the easiest to try and reason with though.

Help?

After everything, it's been kinda fun to just wander around and explore places. I know there are some people who aren't leaving the ship, cause it's not been that long since the fight, so if there's something I can bring back? Let me know, and I'll see if I can figure it out.

We're doing drinks for Jo's birthday tonight, 4pm. Picnic in the Wela Volcano Park. I'm fine gathering food and drink, might need some extra hands carrying it though, depending on how many of you are coming.

We'll probably head over to the beach afterward for the other birthday party around 6 or so, too.

Meet a trubbish, a trash bag pokemon. This little dude has moves called stench and sticky hold. I'm going to keep him. I'm assuming I can just feed him trash.

FILLORY AFFILIATES (AKA The Magicians + significant others):

We've been invited to have dinner with the King of Wakanda and his entourage tonight. I hope none of you have plans.

And if you do, at least make an appearance.

It is entirely possible that I may have asked one too many inappropriate questions about the anatomy and physiology of many Pokemon at the Aether Foundation. I'm not banned per se, but strongly encouraged to rethink my priorities before I step back through their doors again. Science appreciation and curiosity gets the best of me again.

If any of these ports are even close to resembling home, I'd say this one with its wildlife comes pretty close. Haven't seen a turtleduck or fire ferret around, so it's not there completely... also no vehicles or large buildings or crowded streets with some of the best tasting grilled food I've ever had in my life.

But, hey, it's pretty awesome and I got a really sweet Pokemon that can help me feel a little more like a bender along with my electrified glove!

I was trying to figure out which one to keep but I think I'm okay with having just Shredder despite him not being a Pokemon (or is he??? ;)). I love the ports and the chance to go them and all but. I actually miss Planet Earth and the U.S. in general despite all its xenophobic glory. I didn't get a chance to look at the holiday calendar for this year which sucks because I'm already feeling pretty displaced in a place that has practically no Desi population. I don't even know when's Eid. Is it next month? Tomorrow? Did it already pass?! Did Ramadan pass??

Sorry to be the debbie downer but had to get that off. I'm just seriously missing home, particularly Jersey because I know my older brother, even if he says he's above getting excited for places like this, would have absolutely loved being here and probably tried to take all of his Pokemon back home with us.

Seeing as one of these animals followed me home what care does it require? Does it need a vet? And what sort, as I suspect an exotic one might not even be fully accurate. What are it's food requirements, beyond the berries that seem to be a local thing? I'm fairly sure creatures like this need a somewhat bigger diet.

If this is to be done, I plan to do it well.

Aside from berry plants which I'd be collecting anyway, is there anything in particular that would be a good idea for us to stock up on to help care for these little friends?

I just found this Pokemon. I'm not sure if it's a girl or a boy, but [...] it's cute anyway.

So apparently there's this meeting of royalty dinner thing tonight and you're invited. If you're not busy. If you are, we can always do something post dinner. I just figured I'd see.

The resort and the spa have been lovely. I've managed to catch a couple of Pokemon, but I admit to spending the majority of my time here. This little vacation has been rather lovely. It reminds of me of when I used to go on holiday with my family when I was younger. Before my parents decided that I was no longer worth any of their time.
