If someone knows where any possible spider pokemon might be here, I would like very much to avoid them for my own comfort. I would be very grateful.

I thought the purpose of these things was to battle. Everything I caught is rather pathetic.

How's the mission going?

The spa is nice. Haven't had much luck catching Pokemon so far, though. At the moment, I have what appears to be an aggressive looking kangaroo, some kind of blue water bug, and purple crab.

Given the restrictions on how many Pokemon we can catch (six) and how many we can keep (one, which is one more than I was worried it would be) I imagine a lot of people will be looking to trade for what they want. Apart from the "if you see one of these please catch it for me" posts where you want people to see the request but they don't necessarily need to remember at the time who wanted it, it will be a lot easier if we keep the information in one place so none of it gets lost and people don't miss out. You should be able to bookmark a post to come back to it quickly so you can stay up to date while we're here.

All you need to put is basic info - your name, what you want (a specific Pokemon, a type, whatever), and what you've managed to catch. That way we can skim through and see what matches up.

Unrelatedly, the dinosaur park is a tad underwhelming, but possibly worth it for amusement or the chance of finding legitimate fossils. Sometimes you can revive an ancient, otherwise extinct, Pokemon from them. (On that note, if anyone gets hold of a pterodactyl made of rock, hit me up.)

With all the Pokemon that are coming back to Tumbleweed, somebody ought to build a poke-dog park where we can take them and have them meet for poke-play dates. Or, you know, one of those Battle Domes they have on Akala? If you want to compete?

Yes, I've been thinking about this all night long.

Do we have to throw balls at them? It seems mean. Especially for the shy ones. They spend all that time hiding from people and then as soon as someone finds them they get things thrown at them and locked in a little ball. Why can't we just feed it until it feels safer?

Kind of wishing we didn't have to leave this place. It's nice. The weather's a little warm for all the clothes I wear, but I could get used to it. Touching Pokemon doesn't trade bodies either, so that's nice. I think I'd like to keep one for a companion. I'm just not sure which ones would be best for someone adverse to touching.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Just for the record: Mantines are amazing, and I wish Tumbleweed had an ocean full of these so I could pet them. They're cute, useful, AND sweet.


Which is probably why we don't deserve them. Imagine the crap they'd have to swim through. When I lived in LA, the beaches were gross half the time with junk washing up.

Still, I'm going to enjoy them while we're here.

Lillie, is there a way to donate money for conservation? Figure if we've got unlimited funds, I should use this money for good.

Is it alright to give the Pokemon names?

Good news: my brace is off. Can't go around doing jumping jacks or backflips just yet but it's okay. Initially considered throwing it over the side of the boat, but now that it's got people's signatures on it, that decision has been re-thought.

Bad news: Cisco was going to throw me a party once that happened, and he's not here anymore.

Not really feeling the party as much, but I could use some help catching stuff on this island. Murdock, not you if you're going to tell me to get up at five in the morning again.

Is there a rhyme or reason to the creatures that we catch here? Because so far I've found a judgmental space gorilla, a barmy pink milk cow, and a literal jackass. I'm starting to take it personally.

So I've been thinking. Since it appears there's going to be a large population of these Pokemon things coming back with us to Tumbleweed, I think we ought to stock up on supplies that we could sell once we get the shop up and running. Might as well take advantage of everything being free here, right?

I know what I want. A Happiny. I read at the Pokemon school that they turn into Chansey and can heal with their eggs. I want to work with one. If anyone wants to trade me, please let me know.

This is the kind of ridiculous fun I haven't had in a long, long time. I'm kind of disappointed that I joined the cruise so late in the game. Except for the pirates Tumbleweed isn't that bad, right? Is everything free there too? That sounds too good to be true.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

Portal. Alternative universe. Cruise ship docked at a tropical island. Pokemon.

Not entirely convinced this isn't some weird dream, but alright. I'll play along and see how it goes.

I know I said that I really wanted a dog Pokemon, but this little guy's really grown on me.



He's pretty cute. He keeps following me around a lot, and he's really friendly.
