Pokedex, Alola edition.[ooc: A limited version of the Pokedex that doesn't include exact location data, just the island groupings]I doubt we'll be able to catch all of those. The first nine are the starters and their evolutions and in the game you can only choose one set of those. At the end of the list are legendaries and they're incredibly difficult to find and catch. I'd assume we can rule any of those out. The rest, I don't know.
For everyone who doesn't have a clue what we're going on about, Pokemon are... in some ways an equivalent to animals, but broader than that. I think the game concept actually came from insect collecting. The idea of the games is to try to collect every kind of Pokemon by catching wild ones, evolving the ones you have through training and using items, and trading with other people. You can also put Pokemon in battles against other trainers, which
sounds like those underground dog fighting rings but supposedly Pokemon enjoy it and it's definitely a lot more regulated. A Pokemon can only know four skills, fights end when one is knocked out, and they're easy to heal at Pokecenters which are free for trainers to use and located in almost every town and city. As well as fighting there are other things like beauty and talent shows, so it's not all horribly violent. The different types partly determine what they're strong and weak against in battles and also to some extent where you can find them. Water Pokemon, obviously you'll want to look in the sea, rivers, lakes. Rock Pokemon in the mountains, grass Pokemon in fields, fire Pokemon I'd probably head to the volcano.
Or you can just ignore the Pokemon and do the standard tourist-y things like the dinosaur park and resort.
