Normally being greeted by a roomful of hot guys in uniforms would be a really fun way to start my day. But then finding out I'm going to be stuck in quarantine for 48 hours? Yeah, not so fun. Especially when I don't really get sick. Ever.

At least there's room service and a decent selection of stuff to watch online, since the telly is only showing the extremely boring "what's up with Jack's blood?" channel.

When I find out who slipped a mickey into my scotch and dropped me off where ever the hell this place is, I'm going to make your life a living hell and kick seven shades of shit out of you! And whichever one of you bastards shot me with a tranquilizer and stole my gun is next on the list!

It's like bloody Star Trek in here with this weird little computer. The guard said if I type on it, then there's other folk out there who can respond. Right then! Someone bloody well better respond and tell me where I really am, not this bollocks about being brought through a vortex!

So should we just cancel Halloween this year until this costume thing gets worked out?

For anyone who's just figured out that carving a pumpkin is harder than it sounds I've arranged to do a class at the community centre on Saturday. 2pm.

We don't have to do anything for it, I just thought it was weird that I'm already 22! I've been kind of saying I was 22 already because it was May where I was and that's kind of close to October??

So, um, if there was someone who you thought was really nice and sweet, and maybe kind of pretty and you wanted to do something really nice for their birthday for them, what would you do?

I was thinking maybe baking, but I'm not sure what her cake or cookie or sweet flavors are perferred.

If someone's allergic to strawberies, would they also be allergic to strawberry flavoring? Google says yes, but maybe I could sneak some benedryl into the cake? but it seems uncertain?

So, you know I think birthdays are a big deal, and totally should be a big-time deal, and that everyone should have a happy birthday and since Tara's been so nice to me so I'd hate to see someone not have a good birthday. Do you know what Tara likes? have any suggestions for how we could celebrate people's birthdays in the house? I'd really like to make sure everyone has a good time on their special once a year yay-you're-alive kind of day.

Question of great importance: has anyone tried to see if the costume curse thing can work like... a thousand miles away from here? Because as much as I think Halloween should probably be canceled, I don't really want it to be canceled. I'm willing to fly back out to NYC to enjoy it if I have to.
