Anyone have a newfound interest in black holes?

Found this while surfing the web last night: Two Black Holes Ate Each Other and Rippled the Fabric of Spacetime.

Three billion years ago, and the shockwave only reached here back in January. Puts the size of the universe in perspective a bit, doesn't it?

Rey and I were thinking that we had such fun have everyone out here for the General Leia and Han's wedding, that it'd be fun to have folks out more frequently. So, next weekend anyone who is interested is welcome to come out Friday evening for bonfire, good food, etc. Bring your own drinks, and anything else you'd like to. Everyone's welcome.

So, I'm starting to get use to this place. Not like there is much to get use to in the way of nature.

I'm kinda torn. Wasn't really here long enough to get the classes needed to graduate. So I got the option of doing like a GED thing so I don't have to repeat senior year or I could just stick with enduring high school again. And that has the option of football, which is a passion of mine.

Small towns like this are about the same no matter where you are. It's reassuring, I suppose, that it doesn't change much even in another damn universe. Feels familiar in the same way, where everyone knows everyone, and the little old ladies at church know everyone's business. Especially if you don't look like you fit in, if you're different somehow. I keep thinking I'll see But I'd been looking to get away from small town life like this. At least it's a different town. Guess I should be grateful for that.

The thing about this place I can't shake is how no one seems to notice how none of us fit in here. Something's not right about that. Wednesday would've had a hell of a time with these people.

How does one not go stir crazy here? A batch of film-watching or joining in on the local gossip can't possibly do the trick.
