Early Wednesday morning copies of the below note were posted to various spots around the campus. Obviously it was Karim who did it, but in the interest of letting this play out for a little while, he was not spotted and will deny involvement. Those who are Gleeks (hi Enver) will recognize it as a variation of the Glist.

A small note at the top of the posting briefly explained that the scores are ranked out of 30, with 10 each for Sexiness, Experience and Accessibility. It also implies that there will be more to come, for other teams.

Hello, everyone! As exciting as the debut of the VILF list is ;) IVI is in for another treat before Hump Day is over. Omar and Lo get into it in the cafeteria today during lunch. He confronts her in line, asking if they're cool now or if she's still acting like a betch. Onlookers see tense conversation at first, but after certain comments are exchanged (he calls her a crack baby; she brings up that he's not even boriqua because he grew up in the Bronx), their heated argument intensifies into a straight-up screamfest riddled with some colorful expletives -- children, earmuffs! She tries to walk away, he blocks her; somehow, between 'bows getting thrown and trays getting jostled, her soup accidentally spills on him. He reflexively throws bbq sauce at her. Yelling continues, people are confused and agitated, and you're welcome, IVI. You have your first full-blown FOOD FIGHT.

So! Volunteers for anyone who was standing in line and watched the whole thing escalate? Who got into it and started slinging mashed potatoes and mac and cheese? Who sought cover behind a fort of trays? Just a heads up, though, if your characters participate, let's puh-lease keep it PG -- no violence! If it's just a mess, IVI will only make them stay and clean up the scene without further punishment. However, if physical fighting breaks out, things are about to get real serious up in hurr, and no one wants that to happen. Cool? Cool! Have at it, bbs!

Security Breach at Beijing Academy for Evolved Humans By Franklin Rose, CNN Weds October 10, 2012 (CNN) - Officials say a security breach at the Beijing Academy for Evolved Humans in China Wednesday afternoon was a successful kidnapping of a Vol that attended there. The group and reasoning behind the kidnapping is still unknown, and the Human Preservation Society has released a statement confirming they are not involved. The Beijing Academy for Evolved Humans has not released any information on the age, gender, or powers of the Vol that was kidnapped. The Beijing Academy for Evolved Humans is one of many institutions across the globe whose aim is to educate and train Vols. Others include the Voronezh Training School in Russia, the African Vol Foundation in Madagascar, and the International Vol Institute in Australia. [the news broke around 8pm on Wednesday evening; approximately one hour later IVI sent an email to students reassuring them that they were safe at IVI, and that, unlike China, IVI's security was considered top of the line.]
