Group Claims Vols Competing in Olympic Games By Allison D. Sumpton, CNN Wed August 1, 2012 (CNN) -- A group with an anti-Vol agenda released a statement on the Internet today, in which they accused several different nations of secretly allowing Evolved Humans (Vols) to compete on their Olympic teams and threatened to disrupt the games with violence if the supposed athletes were not publicly identified and removed. The group calls itself the Human Preservation Society, often shortened by supporters to "HPS." It is unknown who runs the organization or how many members it has, but sources at the White House indicate that concern over the group has been mounting. One source assured CNN reporters that the FBI has been dilligently working with the International Vol Federation (IVF) to track down the perpetrators. Earlier this year, the HPS was officially classifed as a hate group by both the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center. The statement included a list of several countries, including China, Germany, Lithuania, South Africa, the United Kingdom and United States, all of which the HPS claims have Vol athletes competing in the Olympic Games. Olympic officials were quick to denounce the statement's validity, and London law enforcement assured attendees that security around the games is high. Many nations competing in the 2012 Olympics have official policies requiring that all English-speaking Vols attend school at the controversial International Vol Institute, which recently opened in Australia.
