This is short notice, but I'm hoping I can ask a favor of you...
           
Bluebottle Brooms is going to have a booth at the May 2nd thing. As their Chief (and only) test rider, I was going to do some exhibition flying on our C-Class Factory Racing Broom. Carlucci from the Italian team was going to run against me on some fast laps and do a little solo showing off too. Thing is, the silly sod put it into the trees on the Trans-Alpine race this weekend and will be out for a month or more. Think I could impose on you to fill in for him?
            
I know racing isn't your thing, but I also know you have a sure hand on the stick and can go fast almost as well as you can bob around in front of the rings. I'll make sure the factory comps you whichever broom you choose to ride and a set of tailored racing leathers. Might even buy you a pint or two at the end of the day.

As you know, I'm taking a little time off to do some exhibition flying for Bluebottle at the May 2nd celebrations. Since Lucy had made real progress at learning the office, what say we three get together the next Monday for a little planning and strategy session. Do what you can to clear my schedule for the next week or so. I'll be over at the Lovegood's helping Luna with her father's funeral, etc. If something can't be put off, I'd appreciate it if you'd handle what you feel comfortable with.

Put my caterer on standby. Luna will probably need something to wear, so get in touch with whoever you'd recommend. Whichever barrister in the pool who is best with death, taxes, and inheritance. I'll let you know about a funeral director, church, and all the rest after I have a chance to sit down with Luna and find out how she wants things done. Given that X was a public figure, it might be prudent to plan for some discrete security as well. I'll ask Dora to attend the actual ceremony with me, just in case, but I'm thinking Luna doesn't need to be bothered at home right now.

I assume by now you've seen the notice about Mr.Lovegood passing. I'll be over at the house helping Luna with arrangements.

I'd appreciate it if you could plan to attend the actual funeral and other goings-on with me. The old gentleman was a bit of a loose canon in print, and I'd hate for any of his fans or detractors to disturb Luna at this time. There isn't likely to be a disturbance made you and I couldn't handle together.
