Dear Adrian,
I'm writing to you with an unusual request today, in fact it's more like asking for a favour. I need some potions ingredients for my new project which can only be gathered from forests and heavily wooded areas, which I am unable to go to without being triggered. I was wondering if I could pay you to gather these items for me?
Usually I ask a particular assistant at the supply shop, but unfortunately he is currently on an extended holiday-cum-research trip, and my mentor, who I would otherwise ask is away on a painting trip all week and I'd like to start sooner rather than later. Unfortunately her current apprentice has not yet been trained in gathering these particular ingredients andand I really don't want to ask my ex or the prat that doesn't like me this is outside the area of expertise of the other two artists.
As I said I'm happy to pay you for your time and expertise. Some of the items are readily available to buy, but I prefer to have them as fresh as possible, particularly given the scale of the project I'm undertaking I'd like the best ingredients available. Some of the ingredients would be slightly unusual requests which are, as far as I'm aware, particular to the way in which artists use them. For example I know one plant which has use only for its flowers and fresh stems in regular potion making requires the extremely woody roots for my purposes.
If you are able to help me please let me know as soon as possible and I will provide you with a list of ingredients and specific instructions about collection where there are any.
Yours sincerely,
Dean Thomas.
