Roger: I saw the robe and workout pants and couldn't not get them. Happy Christmas (we have to get together soon, yeah? And we should all do something extra sweet for Mel soon). Enjoy, lovely!

Finbar: It was great seeing you at the fundraiser the other night. I thought you and your family might enjoy some Christmas cookies. They're my grandmum's recipe and really the only thing in the world I can cook. Um, Anyway, Happy Christmas.

Bryn, Ben, & Chris' house: Boys, your housewarming was lovely. Though Christopher, that eggnog gave me a headache that even Pucey's concoction wouldn't touch the next day! Whether you three are to blame or not, here're your Christmas gifts! See you soon, now that the busy season is over, yeah? (One mug for each of the boys with the first letter of their last name).

Cormac (& Lavender): Mac, I was making a batch of Grandmum's Scottish shortbread cookies and thought you two might like some. Tell Lavender it was lovely seeing her at your mother's party. Happy Christmas, Cousin.

The following note attached to the gifts for Marietta & Emma: I know, I know, it's Christmas Eve, but I figure it's better to send things along today than to interrupt your families tomorrow morning. Also: Boxing Day, holiday hangover brunch - not before 2pm I insist - here at my and Charlie's flat. Bring leftovers or whatever you feel like picking up from the story (you know we're not picky). Feel free to bring a date but let's keep it small, shall we?

Charlie's gift and the following note left at the foot of his bed for Christmas morning: Enjoy the redheads, Roomie, tell your Mum especially I say hi. Boxing Day brunch with the ladies, not before 2pm so we all get a chance to sleep in properly. I look forward to leftovers and your bright smiling face.

Marietta - you've got your usual Tuesday night, right? I'd love for you to take Thursday and Friday if you can, as well. Thursday, you'll meet your date at the Bloomsbury, front entrance, at 9pm. He'll be a tall dark Kenyan wizard, hard to mistake, but he'll approach you. Classy attire. Friday, be at Bar Soho at 10pm, buy an appletini, he'll approach you. If you can't make either, let me know via owl.

Emma - You've got Wednesday night and Friday afternoon, and you're closing at the shop Thursday night. Wednesday you'll meet a business associate of mine at the Leaky for a drink and discuss Quickpulse inventory details, when you leave he'll bring you to your date. Friday be at Ministry of Sound - jeans and t-shirt, but look good - at 11pm. He'll be waiting outside with tickets for the show, he has green hair and a black beard, fit body.
