[To Mel] -- Best darling friend of mine, Cho made me promise to write you tonight, sorry if it's late. She's still working on colors (whatever) but we have a date. November 14th. More details to come, of course.

I know you're working right now but I got a floo call from Mum tonight so wanted to write before I forgot. Can you pick a time for us to meet with Cho this week? I'll make my schedule fit yours. Also, Uncle Tiberius asked us if we'll be moving in together before the wedding and I had no idea what to say, because it's not like we're at each others' places every night anyway. I think he's thinking of giving us one of his homes as a gift, but I don't know what to think about that.

[Public] -- The muggle bombings this morning... I don't have words. We here in the wizarding community know how horrible terrorism is. Is there anything we can do as a community to help? Without outing ourselves, of course... I know McLaggen's wants to make a donation - can Gringotts help with that, maybe?

[Warded to Lavender] -- Were you all involved in the clean up at all today? Are you ok?

[Warded to Lavender] -- These night shifts of yours are killing me. I feel very neglected. I'm a very needy, attention-seeking man, didn't you know?

[Warded to Melinda] -- Neighbor, can I order a late night sweets basket to be sent to the hit wizards? Lavender's been on overnight shifts so I thought it might be nice. Anything you think to put in is fine, though probably nothing that requires too much forethought (like, the more handheld the better?) as I don't know what they're up to in the office.

[Warded to Melinda] -- you're a genius, as always. The stand mixer is gorgeous even if I know nothing about all the little doohickeys that can be attached to it. I think she really liked it. I think I might need to learn more about such things, if I'm going to be buying kitchenware for birthday gifts from now on.

[Warded to Lavender] -- I've got a booth at the Championship match tomorrow, if you're working Security and want to stop by? If not, it'll be a very long weekend without your face in it.

[Public] -- MacLaggen's Sports will have a booth at the Championship! Be sure to stop by (we'll be not far and to the right from the Main Entrance to the pitch). We'll have team merchandise (all official, of course!), toys, jerseys, and of course all your broom needs met. Good luck to Tutshill and the Magpies tomorrow!

Warded to Lavender -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVER!!! Can't wait to see you after work. Know that I'm thinking of you all day, though (as if that's any different than any other day).

[Warded to Melinda] -- Melinda, Tuesday is Lav's birthday, do you think you can put together a basket of romantic favorites? You know what she usually orders, right? Also, I'm picking up her gift tomorrow... The first time we ever went out, she confessed to me that she likes baking. Might you have a suggestion for a fancy baking type of thing that I would have no clue about?

If anyone is looking for the enormous book on Tarot Interpretation that's been in the Corner every day since we opened, I've got it.

My card is the Nine of Swords which apparently means something lost or stolen, no time for a gamble. So I guess I won't be putting money on Ballycastle winning the league.

Who else got their fortune told on Saturday? I'm bored and curious, which is a pretty dangerous combination. Also willing to look stuff up if anyone else wants to know what their tarot cards supposedly mean.

Picking up half a dozen of Melinda's sweets Friday afternoon might have been one of the best ideas I've had in ages. Chocolate = Best Sunday Breakfast Ever.

You're kidding me, right? Lee Da starts at the shop like two weeks ago and NOW she tells me she's totally unavailable for evening hours? I mean, it's great to have help during the day so I can get into the office and work on marketing and the books, but it'd be nice to have a night off every so often, too. That's why I was hiring in the first place, right?

McLaggen's Magical Sports is hiring again. Looking for part time, a couple of nights a week if possible, would be a great help! Think about it - spending time with quidditch talk, gobstones, wizard chess sets...? Plus, I train, and it really can be good fun and we pay well, to boot. Lee Da, who works during the day, is very nice and keeps thing as neat as possible considering the kids coming in and out, too. Send a journal if you're interested!

Can you believe this? Should I feel totally offended that Lee Da would give me one schedule when she's hired and then immediately change it? You aren't working nights this week by any chance are you? Because I am, and I'd love the same schedule to have some epic morning sleep ins...

We're hiring for the shoppe! Part or Full time, whatever you like, just send me a note or stop in to set up an interview time. I'd love if you had retail experience, but can also train. No one under 16, please, but if you're looking for something for this summer after Hogwarts (for your kids, I mean), send me a note and we'll see what we can do with that, too.
