Each fortune is delivered by a black raven which accepts neither payment nor treats. The cards are delivered in uniform black elvelopes with silver writing; the recipient's full name on one side and the couplet on the reverse. The cards themselves are high quality materials, and appear hand-painted.

Melinda and I were reminiscing the other night about that awful time in third year when I nearly burned down the Ravenclaw common room (or at least we thought I had) trying to conjure a loaf of good soda bread, and how we'd disturbed your studying all night telling the harrowing story to anyone who would listen. I thought in honour of St Patricks, I might try to actually bake some and it was only right I send you a loaf. How are you doing?

I made a loaf for you and for Tristan, too (it only seemed right, considering, but I have to say I never quite know how to approach him... A selection of Deirdre (his niece, the cookbook author)'s Christmas treats for both Viktor and the children, a selection of bilingual (Bulgarian/English) children's books for Tsveta, a set of homemade wooden toy blocks for Misha, a 10-page fan letter for Viktor from Fin's 12-year old niece, and a selection of beers from recently opened microbrewery in Fin's neighbourhood. Along with the beers is a small note: "Worth a visit, you think? Happy Christmas, mate!"

For Orla:
A pair of high end Beaters' gloves and a note: "Keep kicking arse up there, babe!"

For Orla and Gwenog:
A gift certificate for a spa day at Hardd Knut, including full body massage charms, exfoliations spells, manicure and pedicure, use of jacuzzi, and a light lunch.

For Vikesh, Terry, Oliver, Viktor, and Roger:
A gift certificate for a luxury full service grooming consultation and treatment at Murray's, the oldest barber shop in Wizarding London. Treatment includes a shampoot and haircut, luxury wet shave (or full beard reshape) with hot towel and straight razor, revitalising facial, and a male manicure or shoe shine. Tea, coffee, whiskey or beer will be served as desired.

Finbar: It was great seeing you at the fundraiser the other night. I thought you and your family might enjoy some Christmas cookies. They're my grandmum's recipe and really the only thing in the world I can cook. Um, Anyway, Happy Christmas.

Bryn, Ben, & Chris' house: Boys, your housewarming was lovely. Though Christopher, that eggnog gave me a headache that even Pucey's concoction wouldn't touch the next day! Whether you three are to blame or not, here're your Christmas gifts! See you soon, now that the busy season is over, yeah? (One mug for each of the boys with the first letter of their last name).

Cormac (& Lavender): Mac, I was making a batch of Grandmum's Scottish shortbread cookies and thought you two might like some. Tell Lavender it was lovely seeing her at your mother's party. Happy Christmas, Cousin.
