Owl and Memos
Memo to Lucy Spinks

Lucy,

I've been invited to a social function the evening of Saturday, April 30th. Need to clear my schedule for that, and probably the next day as well.

Sorry,
     Rich

Memo to Millicent Bulstrode

Mils,

Got an invite to Greg Goyle's birthday bash. Since I don't really know the bloke, I assume it's some sort of a pureblood soire. Anything I should know in advance? And what's the fellow in to, so I know what sort of a gift to bring?

Rich

Owl to Pandora Montgomery

Dora,

I've been invited to Greg Goyle's birthday thing. Want to be my native guide to the wiley Slytherin in his native habitat? Saturday evening, April 30th.

Rich

Rich,

I would be happy to be your guide in all things Slytherin for the party. I'm also invited, as well, so I'd be happy to head over with you. It should be fun; at least, seeing most of my old friends. Most of the political stuff is built in, but I expect you'll be right at home.

Dora,

Thanks for the assist.

If I can get along with the Bulgarian, Slitheryn politics should seem like amateur night. It will be fun.

Pop down to my place when you're ready to go.

Rich,

No problem, any time. Everyone will likely be very polite.

I'll be there!

Rumour has it the guest list isn't all your crème de la crème of the Purebloods. I have it from Pansy that Harry Potter was invited. You won't need to get all gussied up, so the robes from Greece will do fine. Or if you want to make a statement, come in Muggle casual business attire, and be amused by the curious looks.

Greg is difficult to buy for -- he doesn't read, or travel, and he's not into the social scene. I'm either going to get him a personal beer-tasting at a brewery up North, or a guided tour of the haunted underground in Kiev.

Color me surprised.

Oho, then business casual it will be. It should be amusing.

Since Gayle apparently drinks, I suppose I'll bring him a bottle of that Colorado Bourbon I've taken a liking to.

Thanks for the assist,
Rich

And Ron Weasley, as well. She hasn't mentioned who else was invited beyond "the usual," which means anyone around the same age from the Pureblood social circle.

It's never a party until Rich Summerby walks in, wearing something to make the masses stare.

Just tell him you thought he might like something a little different?

Of course,
Mils

Mils,

I've pretty much done things my own way since I left Hogwarts and went into Auror training. I'm a 'Puff. They'll stare anyway. Got used to it years ago.
