I find myself in need of a new job - is anyone hiring at all? I can't work with animals or small children and I'll be happy doing anything menial as long as it pays.

Is anyone who hates housework in desperate need of a roommate? I'll do all of it in return for a reduced share of the rent, on a temporary basis.

In relation to that, is anyone hiring? I can't work with animals or children but I will consider almost anything else, although I can be annoyingly picky for which I apologise in advance.

Fucking hate the stupid fucking pyres and the stupid fucking fireworks going off every fucking five minutes but more than that I hate feeling like a traumatised fucking shelter dog jumping every----

every time one of those fucking things go off!! And it's just going to be worse this weekend isn't it.

So I'm back home after a little time away and I have a couple of queries which I can't resolve alone.

1) Is anyone hiring? Preferably a job that doesn't involve animals, food or children. Or anything medical.

2) Is anyone looking for a place to stay? I have a room to rent above a shop, it's decent sized for the price and you'll be splitting the rent
