So.. Holidays. I wish the ER wasn't so busy this time of the year, but then again if it wasn't busy I'd get bored. Or maybe I should find a new place to work? Like in Poisons? Or Accidents?

I know what you will say. I am pretty sure a loud 'Oh for fuck's sake!!' might come up too when you read the rest of this ward.

Wayne is moving in.

I KNOW we agreed that it was a terrible idea. I know it doesn't make sense in the light of the recent realizations that I actually never stopped loving him.

But..

Wayne is my friend and he needs me right now. As a friend. I have seen his actual place and it's really not the best place to live if he wishes to have Rhys more often. So the plan is that he moves in, Rhys can have his own room and it'll make Social Services happy.

Right now, Wayne is a mess and he needs someone to help him get this all in order. You know how addictions work? He's really in a bad place, he has no idea where to start. The offer was there way before.

So he's moving in and we'll start building from there with a good place to live, a new job possibly and it'll help build his self esteem.

I can't ask you for your support on this because I'm basically making things hell for myself, but setting it all aside to help him is all I can do right now. I am his friend and I will not abandon him.

I'd love for you to come over for dinner and a movie though, it's been a while and you can tell me all about Mr Theodore

Sorry for the radio silence lately, I'm slowly crawling out of my head and catching up on sleep. I still don't know what to do and I wish I was someone else's call, like at work.

This is it!! I've been given steady shifts at the hospital! My supervisor is happy with my work and my dedication not only to my patients, but to my colleagues as well. Not my words, they are hers so I take the praise. She told me it was actually the deciding factor because we were two trying to get the shift and, well, apparently my colleague is never available to help out I got it.

I'm also very happy to report that I've been eating the best breakfasts ever this week. Thank you Romeo!!

I really liked our date outing the other day and I wondered if you'd like to do it again. You seemed so stressed out Want to do something even more relaxing than my spa shower?

I scored that shift I told you about. The 4pm to midnight one. I will have weekends!! Mrs Johnson is cutting off her hours, so basically they gave me her shift and she's taking a few nights of mine. One of the partials will have the rest to make their hours full-time. Everything is working out for me!!

But there is one little thing.. they asked me for an other week in the Janus Thickey Ward before I start.

I didn't manage to catch you after the raffle because I needed to go to work, but it looks like you won me after all.

And I should tell you that you have an amazing chef at Finnigan's and should not let him go. He's incredibly sweet, funny, passionate, a great chef and a very talented teacher. He's actually teaching me how to cook and even Mother's personal chef isn't that good.

It occurred to me that I ought to take better care of myself, so I decided to really learn how to cook. Shocking, I know! Anyone has an idea where I could get lessons? I found a few Muggles places in London, but I'd also like to learn how to cook magically.

But a little step at a time, I totally made scrambled eggs this morning.

Talk about a misunderstanding.

So my family is harassing me about Holidays already, demanding that I take off to be with them because I am a Fletchley and I cannot miss two Christmases in a row. It is my duty to attend and would I please bring a lovely girlfriend/fiancée this time. I'm 24 and shouldn't still be single. Ah well..

On the other hand, Grandmère has been leaving messages for me to call her back saying it's important. Turns out they want to see me too for the Holidays and I could bring a nice boyfriend this year too.

Guess where I'll spend my Holidays? Without the boyfriend though

Ernie, I feel terrible.

So, I'm back in London less than a week and I find myself at a bar called Finnigans's. Nice enough place, too much meat on the menu if you ask me, but the bartenders were all very good at topping off my glass when I wanted them to, so there's that.

And the server hands me a journal and says it's something to do with the new community here. Seeing as my office will be in the neighborhood, they wanted me to have one, but I don't have any clue what to do with it.

So I guess I'm saying - any Hufflepuffs out there looking for a reunion? Otherwise, I don't quite know what this is for.

Oh yeah, hey Badgers, I'm back in the UK. I know it's been a long time, but I'm sure some of you haven't forgotten my rakish good looks and somewhat difficult-to-understand charm.
