So, Gofraidh Damhán is out for the remainder of the season. He's well on the way to recovery and uncertain if he'll remain with the Kestrels anyway; contract renewal is coming up.

Riordan Fionola has taken his place as primary Seeker for the next undetermined amount of time.

This being said, there was a need for a reserve Seeker. Was.

I'm back with the Kestrels.

The last few weeks have been interesting, but I'm not complaining.

I'm starting to think that Fin fell off the face of the planet.

I'm ready for Christmas. I think I may be alone in this feeling.

Where was I? Well, I and two cats decided to go on a holiday. Yes, I said two cats. Why'd I bring them? So they wouldn't starve when I was gone. I think they enjoyed themselves.

We enjoyed two weeks down on the coast of France.

Also, yes, I adopted the last two cats. My niece and nephew named them Drooble and Bertie. They seem to enjoy home life. They've gotten fatter since I've owned them.

My mother passed away this afternoon. Any correspondence for myself should be directed to Flint Manor for the next few weeks.

Both wards are poorly cast and easily broken by anyone.

It feels odd. This. Knowing that in just two weeks the League will start again and that right now, all over the country, teams are training like madmen while Healers are working overtime to ensure that everybody's in tip-top shape for the season and arguing with players about the importance of following the individualized diets for them... and for the first time since Hogwarts, I'm not part of that. Instead I'm allocated to simply cheering from the stands, which is great! I love it! It just feels odd.

This year, the Foundation has one first-year student (other than Owen). He's a sweet kid with a goofy sense of humour, and we have been supporting him and his Muggle family since the war. Like all first-years, he needs a lot of things before the school year starts, and I was wondering if you and Owen would like to help him out with that? That way the boys can meet and they won't be surrounded by complete strangers on the Express.

Apparently the result of me trying to drink my friend under the table this weekend was cats. Everywhere. In my apartment.

They seem litter box trained, and at some point I was smart and conscious enough to put out food for them (Where did I get food?) along with water. They really aren't bothering me, but they need new homes.

I've counted ten so far.

I think my sister may end up with nearly a dozen cats at her house. She's in the country. She'll thank me.

I'm having a surreal moment. My youngest sisters are now of age. I can't believe it.

In other news, the idea I had a couple weeks ago is starting to come together a little bit more. There are still some people I need to talk with, but I'm hopeful.

Hello. I noticed that about a month ago you mentioned something about needing someone to help you out. Are you still needing someone?

I'm an idiot. We all know I have moments where I'm not at the top of my game, but this is the worst. This will also explain why I haven't been round to the pub or even corresponded.

My brother,years ago, got his Muggle drivers license. He kept convincing me to try it. 'It's not difficult,' he'd say. 'It's great when you don't want to apparate or the floo isn't working.' I listened to him. I read the books for months. He assisted in teaching me. I ended up passing! I should have quit while I was ahead.

Because I am Aidan Lynch, disaster struck. How? Andrew, that's my brother, let me borrow his car. I had passed, remember? (Muggles are odd... no offense intended. I know I'm odd too). So, I had his car and I was driving back from Sasha's house (this was beginning of April) one night when, as I was crossing this intersection some Muggle plows into Andrew's car (and me in it). Apparently it was a right mess. All these folks surrounded me. Lots of words. And the pain. Bloody hell.

Lots of things ended up broken and the Muggles took me to their hospital where I've been for the past few weeks, unable to talk or have this thing, or have an owl. My family had no clue what happened either until they could find Andrew, since he was the owner. It wasn't my fault, the other driver was distracted or something. But I'm finally home and /still/ broken. Muggles need magic and I need help. I need fixing the right way.

I'm typing this one handed filled with Muggle painkillers. They can do one thong right. If things are choppy and confusing, bear with me. I'm never driving again. I'll take the tube, if I must.

Also, Sasha had her twins. I'm an uncle again. I have a picture somewhere.

Bloody hell! Kenmare won on Thursday! (Yes, I'm always a few days behind). They won. Against the Falcons no less! This is so much better than a tie.

So I had a birthday yesterday and I had a couple small people rather firmly insist that I come to their house so they could have cake. That they made.

Also, please heed this PSA: It is not advised that you make comments about your pregnant (with twins, no less) sister's size during the last couple months of her pregnancy. I didn't learn this the first two times around either.

Monday already. I thought I was coming down with the flu this past weekend, but it disappeared seemingly enough.

Thankfully the Kestrels didn't lose this week. Then again, they didn't win either. It's so hard being just a spectator now.
