Day 100.

Weather: Cold and snowy. No change from what Mount Zenith was like last.

Events: Everyone wakes up back in their Mount Zenith bedrooms at around noon. And everyone is locked in their rooms! At least, until they answer a prompt on the network they are. Upon starting their computers, they will find a question box awaiting them. The doors and windows will not unlock until an answer is submitted.

"What is your New Year's resolution?"

They're kidding, right?

Anyway. Everyone's stuff is back in its proper place - except for Marco's heroin stash. That's been hidden under his mattress.

Day 99.

Weather: It looks nice out? Cold, probably.

Events: Today, everyone wakes up in a new place! Hurray! A change of scenery! Isn't that special? It's always nice to get away from it all after a particularly traumatic period in your life.

Everyone wakes up in an identical bedroom. This bedroom has its own attached private bathroom, so it must be agreed that this is a huge step up from the prison cell "vacation." Buuut... this is weird in a different way, and that difference is bound to be very noticeable once an individual wakes up, at about 8 in the morning.

All of the bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, with a view of... Times Square in New York City, from a very high penthouse tower view. There are massive crowds already at that hour of the morning, and it becomes quickly apparent that the people in the street are lining up for the New Year's Eve celebration and ball drop. Unfortunately, every window in the tower is 100% unbreakable, and no one in the outside world will take any notice of what's going on in there at all. So, that's kind of cruel. And a bit disorienting, as far as the established timeline goes.

The good news, should you choose to interpret it that way, is that everyone can observe the New Year's Eve countdown and ball drop from a position a lot of people would kill for. So. Try and look on the bright side. There's a fully stocked kitchen, many bottles of expensive champagne and other top shelf booze, so there's nothing to do but make the best of it.

Every subject will find a bag packed in their closet, and it's more or less packed how they would have done if they'd had the opportunity to do it themselves. It's as if they knew exactly what each person would want from their rooms. Their luggage includes whatever they need to care for their pets (yes, the animals came too), medications, and at least one formal outfit. Oh, and Marco's bag has a bag of heroin with his meds. You know, no big deal.

Day 98.

Weather: The snow has stopped, and today is actually rather sunny. Freezing, but sunny!

Events: It appears that we're going on yet another day of total radio silence. No noticeable changes, no messages of any kind. Something's got to happen soon, right?

There is something going on however, albeit on a very small scale. Something is happening, or at least going to start happening, to Tobias, Oliver, and Cecilia. As the three of them recover from their various traumas, they will - eventually - notice a slight increase in proficiency in their respective affinities. The next time Oliver goes to flip through some of the language books he got for Christmas, he might find he'd picking it up a bit quicker than is typical for him. Tobias might notice he's frequently daydreaming about how quickly he could climb the house. Cecilia's far too injured to notice a change in her grip strength, but it's there. It doesn't matter how or even when these three individuals notice the change. It's there, and will not be going away unless otherwise stated in a future time update.
